I would highly recommend it. Has a lot of torque coupled with good low speed resolution (sensored). I have it in my Gmade R1 which weights about 6lbs and it has no problem pushing it around. Both the RSpro and motor stays cool to the touch. To say the least, I now have a 3100Kv version as well.
Tekin has told me that it is a issue with the software. If I downgraded to the previous version of the firmware, the issue would go away. There's been no update that fixes this issue yet.
That's I never saw this behaviour on other ESC. I even tried it on my RX8 and it never did it. However, I did try different brand motors on the RS pro and it did the same thing. It all lead back to the RSpro as the culprit. it was pretty much confirmed when I downgraded the firmware and the issue went away. Try a different F/W on the MMP?

It is a firmware issue as downgrading will fix the issue.
