You should do a video showing the routing for the belt with all the accessories on.

Can you not run an alternator from a Japanese diesel engine. Most have a vacuum pump direct coupled to the back of the alternator. Oil feed and oil drain into the sump. Japan has been using them for 30-40 years. Vee belt and multi-rib belts availiable.

Expensive. Impossible to find. Unreliable. Not made for brakes. Low amp output.

Expensive? In the US/Canada only maybe.
Impossible to find? Same as above maybe.
Unreliable? Sorry but thats just not true. Been rebuiding diesel fuel injection gear and engines for well over 45 years from 4hp to 30,000hp and engines that you will never see and one thing is 100% factual, Jap alternators/vac pumps are extremely reliable. Not made for brakes????? Holy crap. Millions upon millions of Japanese diesel cars, vans, trucks up to 4-5tons prove that wrong. System stops Toyota, Nissan, Ford/ Mazda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Hino, Musso/Mercedes vehicles perfectly. All use/used the same system. Low output? Can get them up to 120amps plus , 12 or 24volt.
But each to their own I guess.
