"Through the Lens" with Sean Martin

All alumni, friends, and families were invited to join us for Through the Lens, a virtual faculty lecture series by the UVA Clubs Global Network. Registrants were joined by Sean Martin, Donald and Lauren Morel Associate Professor of Business Administration from UVA’s Darden School of Business.
Sean led an enlightening conversation on “How Social Class Shapes Leadership and Work.”
The discussion included:
-Social class and how it shapes people.
-How social class transitions develop unique skills and abilities that are organizationally and socially valuable.
-Strategies for leaders to foster opportunities for those whose incomes are below the federal poverty threshold.
