You are missing two very important points to this story. One, seemingly banal but actually truly important, it's how good looking Luigi Mangione is. That truly affects how people react to him, in a Clyde Barrow or Billy the Kid sort of way. The other point, it's the random coincidence of the announcement of Anthem Blue Cross that they were going to stop covering anesthesia costs if the procedure went on for too long, and their immediate reversal in the wake of the killing. The lionization of Mangione it's happening at a moment when hatred for the private healthcare system was at an all-time high, and then his actions were seen, correctly or incorrectly, as having an immediate positive effect.
Or the Unibomber. I worked in advertising then and all the top execs at my company had their mail screened by mailrooms and secretaries and plenty had ex-cops as drivers...
Luigi read the Unabomber manifesto as a member of a Book Club, and the book was not his choice. Luigi wrote some 295 reviews. Don't believe these political pundits, they are tying to manufacture a narrative and consent. That are scared they will lose their power.
Sure, there has been RW political violence, Jan 6 included. But the actual amount of fringe right accelerationist "revolutionary" types, i.e. people who intend to overthrow the government of the US and the Constitution is not very large. Their lone wolves are a problem, certainly, but with LW political violence there is a more organized revolutionary phenomena. We're inching back towards the '60s.
Censorship? Really? You think YOU will be the gatekeepers of this, and you will keep the common people from content you deem "dangerous?" You got to be kidding me. You don't know what Mangione believes? He is NOT a follower of the unabomber. You need to make that narrative stick because YOU guys need to protect your power and narrative. Why don't you just call us the "deplorables?" It is not a right vs. left issue, it is a CLASS issue.
Luigi is a class traitor. You guys seem angry he rejected the benefits of his class (even though he arguably still had money, and probably has a good lawyer). How dare he mingle with the common folk! The only reason he read the unabomber was because he was participating in a Book Club, and the manifesto was recommended by two guys in that group. Luigi wrote 295 reviews (something like that), and the media focuses on Ted's manifesto because of the sensational nature of it. You ignore the list of people he follows on twitter, and they are NOT left wing radicals. He follows Joe Rogan, and PBD, and more right of center "dissidents."

Because anesthesiologists have been overbilling. It's not a random policy implementation.
Excellent show today gang.
Sorry, John. Raskolnikov doesn't kill his landlady and her daughter, but a pawnbroker and her sister.
@@goodzirra1952 and Ivan doesn’t kill his father.

Republicans in the house should call for resolution which condemns this act of political violence. Force democrats to vote on the measure.
This is not a Left vs. Right issue.
Happy Trails Paul Krugman 🫡
For the algorithm

How many "abortion" doctors/medical professionals were killed in the right wing/Christian Nationalist terrorism over the past few decades?

It is class warfare, not right vs left. COPE
No this is evil. Murder is evil. It is wrong. Stop being a communist and grow up.

You are delusional. If he was a real person, he could have worked at a nursing home and helped people in need rather tha commit murder.
