Quem is actually insane because it gets you to cartesia even more consistently. You are essentially playing 4 cartesia with fusion deployment, 4 quem with opening, and 6 aluber with opening. Quem sends cartesia to the grave, if you resolve branded fusion, you get cartesia on board for dusk dragon. If fusion gets ashed, you at least can special cartesia on their turn and still get off cartesia effect. Any combination of branded fusion plus cartesia or quem gets you a double gimmick puppet expulsion lock with the new sanctifire dragon.
Even with branded fusion a 1 in the ocg they don’t lean into the synchro stuff at all really. I’ve seen the nadir servant but I think that’s mainly to make up for lack of branded fusion. Takes seem reasonable. I’d personally pick up 1 quem and despian and the rest can be a hit or miss. The trap card negate seems like a solid 1 of in the side deck and etude might be good one day if bystial a ever find their way truly back into branded
Yea but etude is only good if you play bystials which suck right now as they only hit math mech and you need to play enough of them to make use of this card also otherwise it's another brick like beast
Quem is the only one I would expect to make a splash. It’s accessible off of opening, lost, merc, and it’s also a dusk dragon target since it’s a dogmatika card. Plus it can get you access to Cartesia, kitt, shrouded dragon, and albaz so it can be both extension and interruption. Overall seems too versitile to not play at least 1
I'm still working out the kinks but there's combo lines that let you cut saronir and lubellion with it. Idk if that's better than actually using them tho. I like a 45 card deck with 6 bystials so idk
The new albion fusion and Lulu synchro seem really nice as well but honestly the deck needed a play which was as strong as branded fusion but instead it's branded fusion ash-ed then you end on cartizea if you get nadir which is not the best like you can still play just the deck will not be teir 1
I know this has been said, but you're really underestimating the space any of these cards take up. You can quite comfortably main 2 quem and the ED space is quite fluid. I've been testing the cards for the last few weeks and they are incredible and lead to some amazing recursion, and interactions. I'm on a tight 40 card build now. It's gas for sure but the deck has a lot of power and potential.
Would you be so kind as to share your list? I’ve been looking for a good way to build with new support and my current deck before support is 41 so I’d like to see how you did it. Do you have discord?
I disagree with your thoughts on Guiding Quem. Its existence as a Dogmatika card means Nadir Servant becomes significantly more viable as a way of playing through Ash Blossom on Branded Fusion, the deck's biggest weakness. Branded in High Spirits doesn't require high Bystial count at all, before or after Quem. - Nadir Servant, sending Sprind the Irondash Dragon from Extra to add Fallen of Albaz to hand. - End Phase, activate Sprind the Irondash Dragon, Special Summon Springans Kitt from Deck. - Activate Springans Kitt, adding Branded in High Spirits from Deck to hand. - Activate Branded in High Spirits, revealing and discarding Fallen of Albaz and sending Albion the Branded Dragon from Extra to add Tri-Brigade Mercourier from Deck to hand. - Activate Albion the Branded Dragon, adding Branded in Red from Deck to hand. - Activate Branded in Red, returning Fallen of Albaz from GY to hand, then Fusion Summoning Lubellion the Searing Dragon using Springans Kitt + Fallen of Albaz. - Activate Lubellion the Searing Dragon, discarding one card from hand and returning itself + Fallen of Albaz from the Banished pile to Fusion Summon Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon. Through Ash Blossom on BraFu, this ends on a Mirrorjade banish + Mercourier negate. Is it the best field? No, absolutely not. But it's significantly better than the nothing most Branded decks can and most likely will end on when hit with Ash. This is the worst-case scenario, to say nothing of it diversifying what zones are your interruptions are in to avoid blowouts on the chance that your BraFu resolves, and this is before you can do things like sending Despian Luluwalilith to Special Summon Quem/Cartesia from Deck in End Phase.
That’s fair, it’s just that to play all those packages you have to take utility cards out of your deck like handtraps or going second cards, so your chances of winning going first increase, but if you lose dice roll youre in trouble
Hey man, really liked your breakdown of the new support. I’m currently playing a budget branded deck without lubellion and cartesia (Waiting on mega tin reprints because they’re the equivalent of $95 each in my country) . Would you suggest I pick up any of the cards in this new box? and if it would be worth it running a hex seal to cheat out grang
Blazing Branded King might end up being a on of and sided in more copies because it stops cards like Evenly, DRNM, etc. I wouldn’t be mad drawing it as a one off in the main. Incandescent seems like hype to me. People are already talking about how it’s “Broken”. It’s mid. Jowgen seems like the obvious pitch to make it for the people who want to do degenerate locking, but it also locks you as well. Doesn’t seem beneficial. Also, finding extra deck space for it is an issue.
@@phantomsygo Albión enabling gimmick lock easier too. The support is pretty good with nadir stuff. A lot of one of cards for sure though. Hope to see more branded content soon bro 🙌🏻
I don't think you've really looked at the application of a few of these cards properly, such as quiem, dis pater and albion. those cards allows you to change the strategy slightly and make it more explosive.
@@phantomsygo tbh…there is literally just 2 cards u may take out to accommodate quiem and something else and then just 1 from ED and that’s it. The deck will still be viable and the consistency won’t be bothered and if it is, just by a small amount or maybe not even at all

The new synchro can turn mirorjade into a negate. I think it's really neat
Quem + etude adds a combo line to put opponent under buster lock with no buster bricks
@@superhtml9463 how does it buster lock with out buster is buster not a brick ?
How dose it turn mirror jade into a negate?
Quem makes it easier to play around ash. Etude also let’s you try to play if you are under d barrier if it don’t get hit.

The problem with the deck is 2 fold the end board is way weaker if ash-ed and it struggles with going 2nd to play enough non-engine to crack a board.
The albon is summoned on the opponents turn seems like a 1 of to me

I have a question .post phhy should I play super poly ?
What do you think of Albion if Expulsion gets banned?
Still the same, you’d have to choose between making Albion and Mirrorjade, and i think 95% of the time Mirrorjade will be better
Quem sounds godly.
Thinking Branded Dragon Link is stronger . It’s bystial control .

Agree with both of these assessments
Locking your opponent is insanely good as you have a field so jowgen seems nuts
Quem prediction flopped. It’s a one of yes but Jesus the card is awesome
yeah I'll admit I can appreciate Quem a bit more after seeing some gameplay with it.
