    Rexburg Motorsports did a recall claim for me, and Husqvarna send a new updated slave free of charge! They included all gaskets and or rings as well. Great service!!

    Its a funny thing, Ive had hydraulic clutch KTM dirtbikes since the first year they had Magura hydraulic actuation.
    Never one problem, rarely if ever even bled a system. Trouble free and worked great.
    Now I have a 690, and it seems like ever since the 690 had hydraulic clutch actuation, they have had this same problem and I guess still do? I have a 2021 690 and everything works great, but I dont want to lose use of the clutch lever out on a ride in BFE.
    The parts look the same as the dirtbikes had externally, but they had an O-ring inside from the factory, not a seal.

  • @АлександрМатюшевский-н5ъ

    Hi. The sitting size is 2mm in width. Why did you use 2.5 oring? I found it to big using 2.3mm oring. But the piston diameter is 24. Did you use 22mm oring to stretch into size? Is it better using 24x2?

    • @masterverkstan
      @masterverkstan  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, I use a 22 x 2.5 epdm oring on the original “failure” slave piston. This is only for the -19 to 21 Ktm 690 bikes, and 18-21 701 hsq

    Hello, Quick question. Can you do this procedure without changing the engine oil? As in, is the clutch push rod sealed or if I take off the clutch slave cylinder casing, will the engine oil come out too? Thanks.

    • @masterverkstan
      @masterverkstan  2 роки тому +1

      Yes you can do this without oil change IF the seal not is damaged. With a damage piston seal, there is brake fluid mixt with the engine oil!

    Skaffat en 690 -19. Den har varit inne och fått bytt slavcylindern under garanti. Bör jag ändå kolla oringen ? Tycker min koppling kan kännas lite slapp ibland, men är inte van heller riktigt vid hydralisk. Är det vanlig 5.1 bromsvätska ?

    • @masterverkstan
      @masterverkstan  2 роки тому +1

      Om den är bytt med ett sk. Recall så skall det sitta den nya typen av slavcylinder. Tyvärr kan jag inte säga hur man ser skillnaden på utsidan. Annat är det om det varit inne på garanti för att den gått sönder, då kan man fått den dåliga varianten igen. Det är 5.1 som gäller, absolut inte 5.0. Kopplingshandtaget är väldigt lätt att trycka in om man jämför med andra modeller, och så skall det vara. Men känner du att de blir sämre och sämre så har du nog problem. Är den allmänt bara svampig så kan det vara luft kvar i systemet.
