I think this season was one of the best. As far as the dog fighting goes, you did a great job showing it's existance, the environment it thrives in, and the contempt even an outlaw biker has for the mistreatment of animals. Tig played into that storyline perfectly and it should stand as a wake up call to those that think dog fighting is a harmless event. You did great on that, screw anyone that says differently.
Thanks Mr Sutter for another superb, sometimes emotional, season of SOA. Every season certainly leaves me, my Dad and friends wanting more!! With regard to the dog fighting, people bitching about it need to re-watch the finale, there was not one bit of that scene that glorified it at all. It showed a story of how grim dog fighting is. And like what has been said already, Pitbull and other so-called "dangerous" dogs are infact as loving as any other breed if raised and treated correctly.
Unreal episode Kurt. Had me on the edge of the seat the whole time. Sons has always been consistent in doing this, yet this brings back the pure rush that some of the earlier seasons brought. Bravo to you, bravo to the actors. Ron Perlman's 'big scene' was stunning, just stunning. Possibly one of the highlight's of all the seasons, both because of the way you formed Perlman's character into what he is today. What a great cast!
Thought this was the single best season of TV I've ever seen.I've never been so excited with anticipation as I was for yesterday's finale.The writing on this show never ceases to amaze me.Can every episode be an hour and a half next season?
This has been just an amazing season, the very best one yet. Kurt you are the very best writer ever and this season just really blew the others out of the water. I loved the longer episodes, loved the depth of all the characters, especially the more ruthless Jax. It was also nice to have a finale with no big cliff hangers like there has been in the past. It will make the break must less tense.
I just watched the finally. Wow. wow. wow. wow. wow. wow. wow. I never thought I would be able to say a show has eclipsed the wire as my favorite. With this episode, SOA has done that. Thanks for bringing the art and passion you do Mr. Sutter, Cast & Crew.
Now waiting for season 5 on Blu-Ray to see all the out takes and behind he scenes. Have all episodes on DVR but waiting on all the added content and commentary! Great show!
Too true :D I loved the Tig and dog story...I cried three times in that episode, once when I thought Tig'd had it, a second time when Jax saved him and a third time when Tig was cuddling the dog at the end
Great season finale, this whole season was a great ride. Can't wait until I can add this season to my blu-ray library. On the dog fighting issue, I was surprised to see it in the episode, and I think it was handled in an unflinching manner without going overboard. Tig's response to it was fantastic, and it definitely shed the right light on how the SOA characters feel about that sort of cruelty. This series has maintained a high standard that should be acknowledged by the creative community.
Thank you for a great ride this season! I'm not going to say I enjoyed it, but it was memorable. Interesting road we're traveling down with Jax. Can't wait for next season.

Tig had a dog named Missy, Which I believe comes to play in season 3 when Kozik is trying to switch from Washington to Charming, Tig won't vote him in cause of some kind of back story with the dog. S.O.A ... Greatest show on TV, Sucks it has to be over for another 9 months, But anticipation will make the premiere that much better.

I think the dog fight was handled realistically, and Tig was perfect in how he reacted. The entire episode and season were great...I am going to be going nuts until next Sept for Season 6!!! I can not wait to see how you evolve the story line, with Tara and jail and all...I know Katy is your wife, and I love her BUT Gemma is a evil dirty rotten selfish woman...I think Season 6 needs to see some retribution come her way some!!! Love the show, can't wait for next season!!!

I knew Pope was going to die but the Sutterman again threw out a big fucking curveball. But goddamn, this season was THE SHIT. I really can't even fathom how Sutter could make the next season-starter better. But then again, I don't need to know shit. I know Kurt will deliver whatever the matter. Whew! what an episode.
I don't think the dog fight was glamorized at all... but it was definitely one of the hardest to watch scenes ths season. It's right up there with Opie's death scene.
For those that couldn't stand the dog fighting scene, just remember a dog ended up getting pay back on the sob who was the leader of that whole thing. (Can't remember this name.) Epic finale.

I thought the entire season was great! The finale was awesome! No glorifying dogfighting, I thought Tig's reaction accurately portrayed the proper attitude towards it.
