probably weird BUT i‘ve rolled my ankle 3 times this year and everytime it happened either in my lining speed 9, cosmic unity 1 and nb 550s. Funny thing is I‘ve had my puma nitro teams (first version) the longest and NEVER injured myself. I wear a brace now but without a brace and nitros on I can run as fast as I want without injuring myself
Zach, could you possibly review a shoe for basketball/tennis that features significant toe splay (opposite to taper at the toes?) I love how Altra’s feel for my bunion but they’re running shoes.
Please do some old school Nike basketball shoe teardowns like retro LeBrons, retro KDs like the KD 3 retros, other Jordan retros you haven't reviewed, and some other vintage Nike basketball shoes.
i wanna sell my Melo 2's.. just isn't bouncy to play in... nor are they like... any good at all imo. maybe i haven't broken them in but honestly, it was such a waste of money on my end. their "nitro" foam to me is just normal dense foam. not comfy. they are just standard.
How do you not realize she only wears the shoes once? It doesn't matter if the tennis court chews the bottom up over time". 🤦 She simply just wears a new pair every game. 🤭
Interesting shoe...Unfortunately Brazil mostly has clay courts, but a few basketball shoes have a good profile for tennis playing. Have you migrated to another tennis racket?
Thanks to you Dr Zach, I wear ONLY basketball shoes for pickleball now...I use the Nike PG6 and the NewBalance WXY V3 and they work great.....soles are holding up pretty well for such abrasive outdoor courts but the support and comfort are fantastic...this Stewie shoe looks like it can accomplish the same thing
Love your in depth disection analysis of the shoes. I'm getting a little bit of achilles tendinitis. I play basketball weekly. I'm wondering if there is a basketball shoe that you would recommend that will help any with that.

Update. After breaking them in I actually really like these shoes. Oddly enough the traction got better over time. Overall I’d recommend , 8/10
