This is a band that really deserves a deep dive. This is the song that really pushed them into the spotlight, but they've been cranking out albums on a semi-regular basis since about 2006. Not to let my inner hipster shine through too much, but as glad as I am that they got some big time attention, I wish some of their older work was better-known. In the Mountain in the Cloud and Evil Friends are good starting points, but they have a pretty diverse body of work to explore that goes back even further than those.
@@TheDylls Yep, they came out with Waiter: "You Vultures!" in '06 and have been putting out new work every few years every since then. They're up to 9 full-length albums now, plus EPs and whatnot.
Nice, I've heard this song. I had no idea that it was Portugal. The Man though. I used to listen to them a lot back in the day. Need to catch up on their discography.
Seriously, I'm a normally "mostly" metal fan to the core, but I've always liked "groovy/psychadelic" vibes in any music, and these guys go over the top. I don't like every song from every album, but they have TONS of great songs, and in particular, their albums, "In the Mountains, In the Clouds," "The Satanic Satanist," and "American Ghetto," are complete SOLID GOLD, front to back. For real, every song on ALL those albums are just awesome/fun. The have plenty of other good songs/albums, but those in particular are completely untouchable. Good stuff!!

I am first! PTM is a highly underrated band, their guitarist is phenomenal!

Now sing the words ‘Hey! Wait a minute Mr Postman’ over the main hook of the song 😜
1st of all, I love your channel. 2nd, I love Portugal. The Man. You've got to listen to their song RICH FRIENDS.
Really missing the Videos, the impact isn’t the same.
I can see this in a Austin Powers movie! ❤
