Hi Rocket..
I have just subscribed.. Great videos, me and my wife are coming to Hau Hin in March for 1 month to look for a villa to buy and hopefully do what you have just done.
We are from Newcastle and near retirement and I agree with you on most things especially about our broken country. I cant wait to retire and get out of this shithole.
We will be staying at Orchid Paradise in a rented villa for 4 weeks ( Do you know what that complex is like) We only booked it on airbnb.
Anyway good luck and maybe see you in March .
Your channel deserves more subscribers, top man always enjoy your content
I’m back for 3 months in December can’t wait 🙏🏻
Hi, scoobie snacks. Thanks for showing fabulous Hua Hin again. Super interesting 😊😊
My new favourite channel, I love these videos you’re sharing. I’d love to visit Thailand someday, it looks amazing
Hey man second video I’ve seen of yours, ultra respect to you with your plan(retirement plan), keep being you and doing what you love, happy journeys!
Nicely shot video, excellent pace. Hoping to move to Asia myself one day soon!
Crazy busy and noisy with bikes!!!!! 😮
I have been going to Thailand for 17 years and have never been to Hua Hin. I will definitely have to go there at some point.
Just a point on your comment that you don't need a prescription to buy medicines in Thailand:
While in general you can walk into a pharmacy and buy medicines, pharmacies are are not allowed to dispense certain drugs without a prescription, for instance sleeping tablets etc, I did exactly that on my last holiday and was told by a nurse friend it was illegal, but most pharmacies do it, at the end of the day its a business.
The durian prices of 100฿ and 160฿ are per kilo of the weight of the whole durian before cutting them open, not per durian or per durian piece.
Hey The rocket man is good to know all of the soi in the town because it won't be long for me to settle down there too right now I'm looking for a house there hopefully by next year.
I really did think you was not going back for the dragon fruit, eggs and peanuts, but you kept it till the Very end. Good on you👍
To clarify, the road next to Baan Khun Por where you started is Soi Bonkai and that leads round to Soi 94. The road where you looked at the belts is Soi 88, that runs from near the train lines out to the main immigration office. Where you bought your eggs etc and waked through to soi 88, if you'd turned left there's plenty of bars, places to as well as places to stay.
Enjoyed the video, nicely paced
Durian is an acquired taste. To me it tastes like spoiled milk. Others freaking love it. It's such an odd texture for a fruit as well. But everyone should try it once as it seem to taste differently to almost everyone. I love Rambutan and Lychee.
Wow this is so different from the UK where car is king
Love the long videos!!! Please how us the fish cooked over the charcoal at the end of this video
These are the type of videos I show my friends. Real Life in a day out in Hua Hin :)
Nice vlog! Do you know how to get to the bike lane to cycle to khao tao? I can't find it. Thanks in advance!
its not hard too find just head south on the main road out of town
Chang (large bottle) is 65 baht in Baan Khun Por.There are two pizza stalls there, both sell at 99 baht, but for me,the one you showed is the better one.Not sure I agree on the Indian food. It's ok for the price.
In flying in on the 25th November to Bangkok ,will it be busier in December January
Do you no if there is any plans for ferry Hua Hin to Pattaya too be back up and running any time soon
Of the South East Asia vloggers I've seen you seem to have your head screwed on best. I haven't seen you mention the health aspect though maybe you have. I despair for older guys who either ignore it or get some cheapo policy and think they're safe. Health costs for serious illness are by far the thing most to be concerned about or at least aware of and you can't always "just fly back to the UK." But you've probably got that covered. A refreshing channel, and not wall to wall girls, bars and bullshit. Good luck.
Any places there that do visa extentions. I"m looking at the tourist visa 60 days with 30 days extention?.
sorry i don't have any info on visas I don't need a long time visa at the moment due to travel plans outside of Thailand
Can you get Marmite in Nany's? BTW you could get HP sauce in Bangkok in 1974, but no ketchup.
By the way if you want a wild crocodile skinned you have to go to south Africa or Australia for a saltwater crocodile and South Africa freshwater crocodiles are very aggressive animals .
How much was your taxi from the airport Sir?
@@rockettravels1977that’s brilliant that mate! Was just saying to the mrs the other day… we arrive in Bangkok at 8am… it’s a long trip but thinking of getting a taxi straight off rather than a night in Bangkok… how did u find it after a flight from the uk?

Tony, you looked old and fridgile when you were in London recently. But now look @you, you look healthy, happy, young and buzzing with confidence.
Good on you mate, enjoy it.
