- Film from a few days trip to Odessa in Ukraine. Inspired by one of the episodes of the culinary and travel program "Makłowicz on Travel" we decided to follow in the footsteps of Robert Makłowicz to Odessa to try the local cuisine and visit this beautiful city.
Odessa is a relatively new city, founded in 1794 by Tsarina Catherine the Great. Very quickly it became one of the most important cities of the Russian Empire after St. Petersburg, Moscow and Warsaw.
One of the reasons we came to Odessa was to try delicious food. We visited a lot of places on the cooking map of Odessa and we can recommend the places that appeared in the film - the list below according to the chronology in the film:

The whole movie was recorded using DJI Osmo Pocket. The film was shot in February 2020.

This is a very good presentation in 4k of Odessa. Good work. I went there 4 times from 2010-2017 and stayed for weeks. Beautiful and wonderful city to live by the sea ! Hope to return in early 2021 if the virus is eradicated.

Why they took one "s" from the NAME of my town?
Because in Ukrainian Odessa is written with one "s" and in Russian with two "s".

Die Ukraine ist ein sehr schönes Land. Odessa steht neben Kiew bei uns ganz oben auf der Städte-Reiseliste. Hoffentlich ist dieser scheiß Krieg bald zu Ende. Es wurde dort schon genug sinnlos zerstört. 💙💛 Sława Ukrajini!
