This is exactly the kind of dungeon synth I love, its got that high quality aspect but still sounds so perfectly classic. Everything that's old is new again, like a restoration but its totally original. How beautiful it sounds!
I may be in the minority here but I prefer dungeon synth like this. I feel like I am in an old dnd novel like Dragonlance instead of hearing long depressing drones of the other albums I heard. Kinda makes me think this type of dungeon synth should be its own genre.
I call the entire family of DS music "Theme Synth". I would generally put this in the "Fantasy Synth" box, but I also like "Adventure Synth". It has major "Cozy Synth" vibes as well.
For a second, I thought the grunge band Helmet was magically making Dungeon Synth tracks. (Imagine.) What I actually got, well. It was pretty damned good too!
The first time I listened to this album, chills ran through my body from beginning to end. Since then I listen to it at least once a day, this album is magic. My son and I are building a cabin in a piece of forest that we own. The last time, with a speaker, I put this album on while we were there. He told me it was beautiful and now he wants us to listen to it every time we go there haha. This music makes me want to escape to a country where guns are legal and I could outfit a bunker by listening to it on repeat.
*_Way above the average dungeon synth album. The cover is unfortunate; maybe a Kickstarter to release this on vinyl can also bring in a more suitable rendering of this painting._* *_This is so good, I hope some indie devs hears it and uses it as a soundtrack for a RPG._*
@@therealdoc I did enjoy it, why are you angry little boy? Adding me on discord just to cry is pretty cringe ngl. Then running away, adding to the cringe. Can't handle criticism like a typical redditor

yeah a lot of the others sounds all the same
@@user-qh5nm7di2r maybe Adventure Synth?
Fantasynth sounds very nice.
I prefer it to be closer to black metal/dark ambient but I understand wanting a change of pace

holy eff the first 30 seconds is like falling into the best game you ever played but all new again...
...and it just keeps going...
amazing
I still listen to this album at least once a week. This is a new level of Dungeon Synth ⚔️ 🏰 ⚔️
Golden Axe , Poledouris, Joseph LoDuca ! ! ! Extremely beautiful
oh, i found a treasure !
I'd play this game in a heartbeat
One of my favourite concepts that never gets boring - a soundtrack for a fictional video game. Great album!
I love this! Melodic dungeon synth is my favourite 🥰
Great addition to the Dungeon Synth genre. I could listen to this all day. In fact, I probably will!
This song remember final fantasy... i lovely, aewsome.
The second track is short but so heartwarming. Love it.
Instant DS classic! Just brilliant. I will listen to this in the woods by the lake tomorrow.
Wow, right from the start this is amazing. Sounds like it's from one of the greatest RPG's that never was🥲
this is really outstanding compared to most other dungeonsynth albums
Doesn't sound like dungeon synth at all actually but okay. Sounds like a steam game lmao.
@@plotinusreadinggroup def not true. DS and VGM share some DNA for sure, but this is decidedly a DS album.
This is utterly brilliant - an instant favourite.
This is the good kind of wicked
truly inspired.
Listening while having some blonde ales for this spring time weather and reading Mistborn II . Amazing and epic DS album!!
This is one of the best albums posted here in a long while. I recommend you listen with headphones though - great as it is it’s much better that way.
Great to see this on your channel. Phenomenal album of high adventure and detailed world building. Lovely stuff.
Man so many nostalgic feelings come to me when I listen to this music, that's amazing ! Fabulous cover by the way
Nice album.
What an AMAZING album, thanks.

These guys are from Aix-en-Provence! Quelle belle ville!

This... is awesome and heartwarming. Whenever he hears this album, it will probably transport back him to the time he built a cabin with his dad.
Wow, Page Hamilton really changed up his style.
...and I'm here for it!
So good
nice change of style for this 90s legend
Man this really feels like a classic jrpg. So nostalgic.
god damn this bops.
Wow. Just wow.
Thanks ⚡🌞

A splendid journey. I love this album, impressive work 🐺
Amazing, Wonderful, Epic. 10/10.
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
The start reminds me of playing Final Fantasy.
Amazing ♥️
I like it.
sounds awesome and professional
Sounds more like 90s New Age than anything
25:24 my favourite
the band and album names made me hesitate, the art didn't excite me either, but the music held me for several play through. good stuff
The art is awesome, nice colours
Man, Ordmaer's third phase keeps destroying me. How are you meant to survive his Mare Ibrium attack without Weber's Helmet?
Epickie!
That boss theme is something else
Melody at the begining of the first song kinda reminds me of Lake Bodom song by Children of Bodom.
reminds me of Daggerfall
10:20 oooh, the guitar is really good.
hell yeah
Best since eldamar - the force of the ancient land. Great use of relaivox blue
City of Tranquility is very nice.
This album would fit a medieval-style RTS game like a glove. Maybe Age of Empires.
hehe
@@acolyte1951 The damned return!

So is this genre basically RPG OSTs without thr RPG
Crimson desert theme is an awesome one. Great DS inspired by arabian music.

Lmfao "ambiant theme" and its beautiful and soaring and very very active hahaha good. Album. Boys.
reminds me of sexuallobster's music in his animations
Helmet?
I was wondering if anyone else is bothered that band under this name not only already exists but also has made great success
crashing foreign carts
Sung
Helmet? Like, really? Never played GTA San Andreas?
low effort
highly disagree, I was pretty amazed with the first two tracks
There is no such thing as high effort synth music
no u

sounds so good it feels like its from the game of your childhood. impressive work, friend, keep it up
Quite the departure from early Helmet albums.
Que encantador es Crimson desert 🪔🐪
Excellent stuff hot damn
Wow, I was hooked from the start.
Bonne musique
Love from a TrollSlayer and Vaush fan!
Sort of sounds like the nier replicant soundtrack :) love it!
Track 3 @ 2:44 what type of flute is that?
I need this on vinyl
I sure you could process it and fuck it up with some kind of filter digitally if you want that 'warmth'.
