It was sad that Cilic wasn't able to play at his best, but I'm not sure if it would've made a difference. Federer was in God mode for basically this entire tournament.

I am a big fan of Pete Sampras and grew up watching him play and also Federer, I always thought that Pete would be the better player on his day and Rogers day, however watching Federer win the Aus open and now Wimbledon and the way he went about it, not loosing a set, makes him the greatest tennis player ever in the history of this game and I don't think there will be anyone as good as him to be able to beat 18 grand slams titles, he could easily the way he played get to 20.
