Poor guy. Definitely has a dramatic voice, but this night lacks very much of high resonances (squillo). He gets very flat. Tannhäuser is a very, very demanding role. You must be able to jump up and down in the passagio as if you never ever would get tired.
Why holding a harp and not even pretending to play it?

This is a heldentenor role which requires stamina. Any spinto tenors singing Tannhäuser?
He may be a bit flat, but his voice still sounds amazing. Quite dark for a tenor, and very powerful!
He was a bit flat at the begining but got much better afterwards. And he is a true heldentenor, a rarity these days.
He's a lot better as Siegfried
