Juniper bonsai demo by Ryan Neil

Ryan Neil styled this Taiwanese Juniper bonsai at the Trophy 2019 in Belgium. He explains his process of selecting a front, pruning, wiring, working on some of the deadwood and forming the apex. Ryan was assisted by Todd Schlafer and Troy Cardoza.

Beautiful work. Brave artist, the natural beauty of the trees dense soft foliage would be intimidating. the tree will gain it's density again and it's movement is so much better now, Very inspirational.
