In this Minecraft Animated series, @dream has been possessed by a demon, which are the remains of his darkest dreams. Nightmare slowly begins to collect the souls of each and every one of @dream's friends who try and save him from the dreamscape. Little do they know, every soul Nightmare obtains makes him more powerful by the minute. Which one of @dream's friends will be able to help him escape from this terror?

This Minecraft Dream Music Video Animation Series is an epic battle between Dream and Nightmare and Sapnap and BadBoyHalo. This is like Minecraft Manhunt and Minecraft Speedrunner vs 3 Hunters and Minecraft Speedrunner vs 4 Hunters and Minecraft Speedrunner vs 5 Hunters and Dream SMP but ANIMATED!
This is a new Minecraft but, 1.16 challenge that we have decided to try. I try to beat the game, while my friend George AND my friend Sapnap AND my friend BadBoyHalo tries to prevent me from doing it. It's a race, and it's super intense and we had a lot of laughs. I love doing these challenges.

I like how the Egg gave BBH some control of power in order to defeat the possesed Dream from the Dreamon

I love how Dream tries to block the attack but he can't since he's not 'actually there'. And how once Bad is dead, there's no face at all because the rest of his body is so dark. It's unsettling (^ ^')

Blocking the attack is ineffective because even if he was there it could've just cut through him anyways. What he could've done is push Bad out of the way so no one gets hurt. That makes more sense to me. Then again, self sacrifice is more dramatic.

If you don’t get it, Punz is apart of the D-SMP and, this video ISSS mostly all about it, sooooooo, yeah-.
Theory: Bad could have beaten nightmare if he hadn't have stalled when mourning over sapnap's death. He had the advantage on nightmare and gave him time to regroup. Nightmare has a lot of power over Dream's friends, making him more powerful as he collects more of Dream's friends souls.
The thing is I think that sapnaps dead body made badboyhalo turn into his ultimate form

my theory is that Dream is sleepwalking while his body is being controlled by nightmare and he has to constantly fight nightmare in the dimension and is learning to use his power faster than nightmare expected which is why he is in and out of his real body at times and nightmare has trouble controlling dream
Good theory ngl it could possible happen bc Ethan has to plan out the story before he animates it
I think it could be like each time nightmare controlls dream he loses power so i think thats why nightmare is trying to always control dream but that theory is amazing

As far as I can tell, the reason is that he was somehow just his soul, as his body was still controlled by Nightmare, so he couldn't be hit with that energy thing, nor could he block it.

I think it's really cool how each arena is personalized. Dream's was a peaceful forest like the beginning of the DSMP mixed with the prison, Sapnap's was like a training arena, and Bad's is the Badlands. It also emphasizes how Nightmare is the intruder, fighting each character on their home ground.
