Nice look. I thought about painting the inside of my black evo case white but not bright white. I prefer tinted glass vs. clear glass as you get a sharp color without too much extra glow. Ultimately, after adding 10 fans in, you really wouldn't see the interior surface but if I got white fans (AL120s) It would match better. I'd also consider using white plasti-dip on my EVGA FTW3 3070 Ti shell.
Before I got this case I actually had the same idea with the black case but after much thought I decided to go for something a bit more wild 😅 White case and black interior. I am personally too afraid to do any type of modding that requires cutting into the case, but I really wanted a case with a white exterior and black interior. I was looking at the y60, but I really want a case that supports horizontal GPU mounting. Going to give this a try, minus cutting out the bar and stuff. Thank you for the video. :)
I feel you. The black interior makes it look so good imo. You can also use plastidip maybe? In case you ever wanna go back. I chose this specific paint cause of how dark it was and it had just enough shine

Black paint is such a pain to work with! Looks good 👍 at the top that might be an orange peel effect. I got that while painting the model car I stuck in my gaming rig. I had to paint it, Chem wash it, paint, wash, paint, it broke then I had to fix it. Long story short I got it after a bunch of tries. I think it's the temperature or contamination
Yeah everything turned out so perfect except that one spot. Couldn’t figure it out but ended up sanding a bit and flattening it out and then repainted it. Still didn’t turn out perfectly but Today I finished recording my new video and I finally got all my components into it and you can’t even see that spot which is perfect 😅 was hoping it wasn’t too visible and I got my wish.

I wanted something 'unique' and went with a white case, with black fans AIO, and black/white components aside from the FE 4090. Now i'm a little nervous about putting the black fans in an all white case, and I think I want to paint the inside just like you have. Any suggestions after being a couple years in? thanks
@@divineriches2715 I accidentally sprayed too much in that spot and got some weird paint runs and idk it just didn’t look right. My advice is take your time and use good paint. The paint I used is fantastic and still lasting to this day. Just take extra time with it and do light coats of paint.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but hey to each their own. You could’ve probably used a clear coat to get rid of the orange skin and get a smoother finish. Also I don’t think the plastidip wil hold up very well on the rubber inserts, as the paint will probably just chip right off. I do commend you for trying new things though!
I appreciate that 🙏 The orange peel is actually because of the original powder coat. I didn’t sand it down or anything because I was hoping to keep that same texture for a more oem look. Definitely doesn’t look oem but I really didn’t want it to be smooth since I feel like inside a coarse that’d look kinda weird. For the plasti dip on the rubber; that’s exactly what I was worried about. I was hoping maybe since it’s plastidip that maybe it would stick better and not crack since it’s flexible. I might try one piece on the back side and see what happens. My other thought was to just get some black ones from the black version of the case.

How can i make it like not glossy or glowy if you know what i mean . Im planing to paint my whole case black . So it would be really strange to look at if it had the glow/reflection on the out side .
Not a fan of white things, often afraid it will get dirty. But, I really like that case. So, with that, my address is....looking forward to delivery :)
I typically feel the same way and I’m still worried about it when it gets some dust build up 😅 But I guess that’ll just make me clean it more often which I guess isn’t a bad thing. I appreciate all the support 🙏
after seeing your completed PC or a more recent update I actually think its the grey that makes it with the lian li fans being partially grey the rubber grommit things look great. amazing work inspired me to rip one of my cases appart

how did you remove the support bracket to make it all glass
So you didn't do any sanding, just spray the paint right on top?
No sanding but I did use bonding primer first. Did 2-3 coats of bonding primer and then 3 coats of paint.
I love the custom glass on this case. Any trouble putting it on?
Thank you 🙏 No issues with putting it on. Just have to make sure you get the brackets back on correctly and there shouldn’t be any alignment issues.

Just use matte paint or satin

The cases that I am finding for the 011d Evo have black trim around the glass panels. How do you have no trim on yours?
