Loved her leaning into the energy on the A#4 top note rather than making it go breathy or light. A contrast to recent covers. Keiko is showing her versatility and vocal colors little by little with these covers.

I've been listening to Keiko's covers all over again today! Just like she nailed Jukai by Nakamori Akina in her k006 (?) live, I think this cover would be really nice to hear live, here hoping she will do so on future concerts!
Keiko san, I'm sorry, but I have to say that your songs become related songs in 1970-1990 years. It's not usual to go back, so I'm going to be disappointed. By the way, I have to admit that ginjetsu no metaphor, lost, nanairo no finale, nobody knows are super amazing songs and I felt the spirit of Kalafina, depressive, meaningful, and very calming I really love to listen to your songs, so please write songs suitable for today.
These, as you can tell, are covers, and I guess she's basically committed or interested in singing old songs; most of them pre-1990s. I think many of her Japanese audience also request songs of these times to be covered, but I'm sure it's out of her own interest as well, and honestly, her voice soots them. However, I would love to see newer (songs I'm a bit more accustomed to) ones covered as well, but for the time being, I think it's going to be old ones, which i do actually enjoy, but also can see why some wouldn't. I'm glad you enjoy her own songs though, and hope there's news of new stuff regarding those soon.

I think they (Japanese fans) kinda like she sings old songs because they think she so suits it. (In fact, she nailed it) XD I think the reason she covered is that she wanna try challenges with her vocal techniques, and the emotion of these songs (you can read her community post on her channel). Yeah, I also would like to listen to her “modern” music. In her 2nd album, she is surveying her fan about the songs/MVs in her fan club. And I think she still makes “modern” music. I guess that these covers “consider” the tastes of the audience. I hope she and her team can read our comments. Your comment may help to her get more understanding of her international fans 🙌
