Hi La Manda! Looking at your picture (If you’re from North America or Canada) it looks like you could be the so called Black Native Indian, which that’s what I am. But really Me and my people are the original Hebrews from the Tribe of Gad. The Assyrians took us into captivity long ago and brought us here to an unknown land (Deuteronomy 28). Remember the seed comes from the dad. The 12 Tribes of Israel have been scattered to the four corners of the Earth!
I'm reading the book of Joshua right now. I had no idea that God stopped the Jordan River from flowing just like he parted the red sea for Moses. Praise to God!
Thank you, I find this amazing a 30 min drive puts into the my mind the vast amount of water held back not just to cross over the river, but also to be held back from the surrounding land. Imagine the fear the lack of water would have had on the inhabitants of the region. No wonder the many Kings of the region's formed alliance to face Joshua. Fear was in them before they saw Joshua. God world in wonderful ways.
This is exactly why I want to visit Israel soooo badly!!! And this is also why I always Google these things when I am reading scripture. I love having a visual! Its insane! 30 min car ride. Imagine walking that! 😱 thank you so much for sharing. ❤🤗
Thank you for showing us these wonderful sites and so clearly presenting the history, in English. Trying to grasp some Hebrew but not able to understand some other wonderful tourguides
This is impressive. I am at Joshua Chapter 5 today in my Bible reading. It is amazing how God was thoughtful to stop the river at far away Adam so that the Israelites would not be terrified and that they would have more space in their movement across.
I’ve always wanted to know the distance of the water backing up, thanks so much. I now need to see the path of the Israelites from the Red Sea crossing to the Jordan river.
Most of the land of Israel hasn't been touched by the war, for example, the eastern Negev, east of Beersheba where I live, opposite Jordan, formerly Moab, which is traditionally peaceful, as described in the book of Numbers, where King Balak couldn't get Bilam to curse Israel. At ease in Zion.😊
@@Tonya-gi1ms You're obviously a believer in a higher power which motivates you to visit the Holyland. If your belief I pure and your faith is strong and you follow the guidelines while in Israel, you have nothing to worry about. That is my experience of 27 years living in Israel. No snow, little rain, no hurricanes nor tornadoes. P.M. Netanyahu is at rights with the good Lord and the skies are totally blue and the weather is nice and warm for us 9 million Israelis and those who visit here at ease in Zion.
@roncohen2354 Wow that's awesome. I do believe in God and Jesus as the messiah. I have prayed to go but I allow fear keep me from going. I just pray that one day I'll visit before my days are over on this earth. I want to visit where Jesus and people in the Bible walked and lived
The locations you intend to visit are of low if any danger. While making careful preparations of lodgings and guides, to allay your fears seek a blessing from a trusted source to assure a safe journey and visit and return (unless you decide to stay).
Jordan: Jared-Dan= down to judgement Dead Sea: Ultimate destination of sin Joshua = Jehoshua = Jesus City Adam: Man Adam Jesus made the way through God’s righteous judgement from Adam to the Second Death. He made the way for you and me and when we follow him through baptism in his name (born of water) we enter the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!
Joshua 3:14-16 14 So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them. 15 Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, 16 the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho.
I am in chapt 3 in Joshua. Thank you for filming. It reminded me when I visited Jerusalem

Such a wide gap! Imagine the mass of people, and stock crossing. 😮
I’ve always wanted to know the distance of the water backing up, thanks so much.

Thank you for the information. One day I will visit this. Currently reading Book of Joshua and I wanted to know so I search UA-cam.

@@roncohen2354 I'm glad there are parts of Israel that are ok. But if I were to go, I would want to see Jerusalem. Bethlehem, places like that.

i’m dreaming of going to Israel and appreciate some interesting information from somebody there, in the area
Apparently the dam of water at the crossing end would have been about 120 feet high!
,१५ अध्याय ? आजका भुगोल पर देखा सकेगें ? धन्यवाद।
Wow. Roughly 18 miles!
Thanks. Next time, as a more visual perspective, get on a boat and travel downstream from point A to B. God is amazing.
Sir I live in America and we go by Miles not kilometers so if you would please would you say the miles besides the kilometers thank you God bless
If you have a phone it is easy to convert. It is around 15 miles

Well I've never read the verse in the Bible that said it went from Adam to Jericho. I don't believe that's in there hello
Joshua 3:14-16

Read Joshua Chapter 3..it's mentioned there
