    Your videos are always so fun! Really interesting reading the description and how you got rid of the cyano. Watching the mushroom coral open was amazing! I love the goby and shrimp pair, glad you got the skunk shrimp off your hand more easily this time 😂. Thanks for sharing this, it kind of made my morning! Hope your having a great weekend 🙂👍

      The mushroom was super cool to watch at 500x It's quite slow in real time. Sometimes they even shrink up to 1/10 the size when they aren't happy then get huge when they are lovin life! The next little combo will be even more quirky than the DUO!
      I hope you have a lovely Sunday :)

    Also those clips suck for hair too... I use binder clips or I roll the top of the bag over a few times and it will just float from the air trapped in the folds🤷🏻‍♀️😂

      I should have rolled the bag over but it was kinda tricky in the shallow tank. I've never seen these bags used before by a shop they were basically food bags the ones they sell nuts in usually.... Next time I see these bags I'll just drip acclimate into a bowl

      Sometimes you can even hear the little pistol shrimp crack off a pop. Even from the other side of the room. It must be crazy loud in the tank!

    Blue eyed hermits can help a little with cyano! I wish ye luck... because my year old tank is currently fighting a hair algae epidemic lol. Someday I'll get things dialed in!

    • @IndoorEcosystem
      @IndoorEcosystem  5 місяців тому +1

      I have some reds at the moment but they don't seem too motivated to do much 😅 I'll see if I can get some blue eyes. Thankfully I'm 100% clear of both problems now but a new nemesis has arrived... Vermitide snails.. From the phytoplankton dosing increase... It's a never ending saga 🤣 now I need a group of bumblebee snails!

    • @falcolf
      @falcolf 5 місяців тому +1

      @@IndoorEcosystem bumblebee snails are awesome! I have two in my 30 gallon and they do a great job keeping my vermitid snails in check. I've hopefully now dialed in my filtration to the point where my hair algae epidemic should hopefully recede (I have a weird DIY all in one system in place,) but if you ever get a bunch of algae urchins are your friends. Tuxedos and pincushions are apparently the most rookie friendly to keep; I got a tuxedo and named her Doughnut. They are *glacially* slow compared to snails but they are extremely thorough, I swear that Doughnut just spent the last month cleaning just one rock.😂

      @@falcolf Good to know bumblebees will keep things sorted! That's the news I was hoping for! I think my tank might be a bit too small for urchins though. Doughnut is a brilliant name for one!

    Really great video but I don't liek having to read content that jumps all over the place and is fast paced.. its hard to watch the video and read and I wanna do both but to get it all and take it all I I legit watched this 4x. Ok also a good way to raise you view count but you're killin me homie🤣🧐

      😅🤣Yes! Some parts were a little quick I do agree with you! I'm glad you stuck around though! I am still refining to find a nice balance of things. UA-cam audiences are a hilarious mixed bunch so cheers for the 4x! I really need it 😍

      @@IndoorEcosystem Can't say I wasn't first time though. 😁
      I'm sorry you had to deal with the cyanobacterial growth. Truly the bane of every aquascaper and fish keepers.
      Also the music is just beautiful. You really have an ear for great musical accompaniment. Wow. Thank you for these great vids and music selections. 😃

      @@Cow_Juice The Dinos were worse than the cyano 😆Quite a new challenge. I really struggled to get good music for this one, so I'm glad you liked it! Quite a lot of different tones this time 🤔
