ALL the video footage and sound for this compilation of Robins singing was filmed entirely by myself over many months.
I wanted to show the actual footage of each individual bird singing and not just download some CD and play it to a photo of a Robin, as it appears many others do.
Their songs have therapeutic qualities too and listening to a Robin singing is so soothing and calming.
On an evening - If you close your eyes and listen for a while you will most likely feel relaxed in the mind and body, (you may fall asleep) helping you to forget any woes or stress you may have.
In the morning - It is equally as uplifting to wake up to, hearing their songs helps to clear your mind, enabling greater clarity and a more balanced and productive state to start your day.

I clicked the play button one hour ago thinking the length was 1 min and...LOL! 1 Hour.. I started thinking it would be the first video I would comment without watching the video entirely and then I told myself, why? I read the description and kept the video going on my second (4K) monitor while working on the normal one, and my job had become better! The singing is lovely, so is to see that cute beak fully open! You never cease to amaze me. I never guess what's coming next!!!!! This was another surprise! Nice to see all the Birds coming to feed toward the end, and...wow, the Robin on a hand?? You? @@fish2036 Just 40 years of experience walking around locally and further afield. I know where to look in my area. Then you need some luck of course for Birds to show.

Hi Knut, it's good to know that you can appreciate the time and effort put in to get these captures (2 seasons) and bank the footage (as I usually do) until I feel it will make a decent video to share. I could upload something every day with my 'savings' of many seasons, easily.
I may have to do a little bit of making single videos public between the massive editing jobs I have to do in order to create the video I can be happy with. I am out for some time at least 5 days a week, even if only for an hour or so. You just cannot beat the wonder of nature.

It's Easter morning. In thankful memory of His sacrifice for us, and thankful for His resurrection, I stepped outside at 5:00 am to praise Him. I'm pretty sure that a Robin was the 2nd bird I heard.
I like to tell my grandchildren of how the little brown bird stained it's little breast with the blood of Jesus, trying to remove the nails from His hands. In gratitude, He left a mark on them so we could appreciate the brave hearts of these special little birds.

Phenomenal quality and sound dear Jane! This is the absolute perfect video and idea for all of us who are stuck inside, even to watch a bit and then leave to do a chore still listening it definitely reduced my stress level. I loved their songs and watching them sing. I admire your ability to be in nature solo for an entire hour and more to capture things like that...it's not the case here. Thank you so much for this inner tranquility my beautiful friend, I will be revisiting this in the days to come.

I am hoping others get the same feelings listening to these beautiful songbirds and as you say, can leave the video playing in the background when doing other things at home or whatever. I rarely get as much pleasure editing my videos but this is one exception. There are clips here from the last 2 seasons of 'banking the footage'. i am currently filming as many birds singing as i can whilst out in nature. I will be posting them between those 'long and time consuming videos I edit'. I noticed you doing similar too as you work so hard on your own wonderful videos.

Now that I'm back home in the Czech Republic and I hear her sing, I immediately think of Britain, with which I associate her.

They have a powerful voice for the size of the Bird and are usually very friendly too, often coming close to us as we feed them, or even as we are digging the garden, tweeting at us for a worm.
