This is amazing! I've been thrown straigt into calculating inteference in thin films without understanding what was actually going on. I never understood why there was interference because the beams don't overlap in the pictures I've found. The fact that in happens in the eye made it all click and now I feel like I have a good grasp of this model! Thanks! I wonder why this isn't something brought up in the beginning of every lecture on this because it doesn't make sense otherwise
