The Spongebob at my arcade used to have the bonus at 5000, but they recently dropped it to 3000. It was also set to NEVER give 8 or 15 bonus tokens; always 4. (I haven't been to the arcade since 2020 due to the virus)
My local arcade has the SpongeBob and it often gives 8's and 15's. Guess they haven't programed it to not give you those values. Can sort of hear the fact when it lands on the 4's when you play it's missing another movement sound to the next value.

I'm not 100% on the type or even where they are from but my guesses would be either the bold jumping spider or the orb weaver. Jumping spider is from the Philippines and the orb weaver is in the US Canada and Mexico. I believe both are poisonous. Really those are two I picked from a long list unless a spider has an identifying marker its like looking for a needle in a hay stack just too many.
I was at Dave & Busters today I won Gary to complete my set and the machine next to me had a Gary in the corner I tried to win it and another Gary popped out but I ran out of credits so I had to walk away.

TBH I think the gambling commission should force arcades to have all the bonuses turned on, as it is false advertisement to suggest that you can win the 8 or 15.
