TED should really work on selecting better speakers. All the info given here is just one google search away and their work is just sheer bullshit. I mean c'mon ! Neither an innovation nor a motivational talk. Just bullshit.

the first 11 minutes aren't good. She should have started her speech with her conclusion and proceed from there.

Tis lady is as Naïve as one can be.
If we need AI to advise on cloths she is currently wearing, something is really wrong.
But as AI may be helpful, it cld turn out to be our greatest enemy - ever.

Let us break down the whole presentation
    1. The “founder” talking in this video has no idea about what she is actually saying. She is a Masters in Interaction Design. Undergrad with a major in Visual Communication. Her work with Intel resulted in so called patent(s) “Methods and Apparatus for Improving User Experience” (USP 20140075328, 20140075352, 20140075351, 20140075328). I wonder where her experience in AI comes in.
    2. The company mentioned here has been a sole product of the other “co-founder” who had done some interesting work at Stanford.
    3. The products developed so far by this company looks like a version more immature than a proof of concept. They have raised a million dollars just to build one app which another Indian company in Bangalore did it in few months (by a couple of students).
    4. Their website only “makes a statement” that they have big APIs published but no where could anyone gain access from. Despite mentioning having a ML engineer, Senior app dev and a “Cloud whiz” and huge funding, they are not able to put up a stable live API for devs to access.
    5. The VCs of this company, Growx and Exfinity have a portfolio that is nothing compared to a part time VC over at the valley. Big words but nothing in action. It is very clear that their funding has been a result of the pedigree status of one of the co-founders (Stanford... *cough *cough).
I hope the bubble just explodes soon to move away such wannabe startups and pave way for the real ones. The founders should just go back to their white boards to work on something productive or just get back to their academia instead of wasting resources.

My friend worked in LA for 12 years, still, her accent isn't even close to being this ridiculous.
