- This is the Afternoon Session of June 4, 1946 at the Nuremberg Trial. Gen. Jodl continued his personal Defense Case by describing Germany as entirely unequipped for a world war. It could meet Poland but not a combination. He discussed the "reckless gamble of occupying the Rhineland with so few troops." He also described the march into Austria and the Sudetenland.
