I chose the excact same dialogue options and "you didnt trust the science" was so annoying. What is there to be trusted in releasing an unproven GM microbe across the universe... and the aceles is such a cool looking creature i was really hoping id get to see some wandering around again
Her voice actor is awesome. Tbh, I’ve loved most of the dialogue. At least the character has beliefs and conviction instead of just going along with everything the MC does, even if it is a bit naggy.
Same! They said the microbe could mutate and cause havoc. The heat leeches are already prone to extreme mutations and the dinosaurs were cool as hell. I was very disappointed in her nagging.
on top of that the Aceles were already part of the food chain where the terramorphs were and were only extinct for like 20 years so bringing them back isn't going to cause a major shift in ecology either. The aceles make more sense than anything
I'm glad to see that other people are also finding the companion reactions against the Aceles to be incredibly jarring and nonsensical. Yes it's slower but it's safer. But when has introducing a microbe that would essentially inhabit every living thing in order to attack it's intended target ever been a better idea? Especially when it targets something that by its own nature is a mutation? Sorry Sarah, but you clearly didn't learn the difference between slow and steady vs quick and easy. There's always a trade-off and there are far too many variables in the galaxy that could have affected or altered the microbe in some way that would result in an even bigger problem. Meanwhile the Aceles are a solution proven by natural evolution. This seemed like a no-brainer to me.
Sam coe had no problem with me killing thousands of random spacers and crimson fleet. But I rob one Galbank ship and he calls me a murder. Like my guy do u have amnesia or something?
That dialogue is "strange". When I opted for the Aceles, Sam Coe was my companion and he supported my decision since the beggining. But then time passed, I went to talk to him and he started saying that I was wrong and should have opted for the microbe!
I opted for Aceles by accepting suggestion from Sam. At first time I said to Hadrian that I would choose microbe and Sam disagreed. When I suggested Aceles for UC Cabinet, Sam agreed with me. After I finished the quest that made Sam optional, I kept him with me and later he said me that I should have opted for microbe.@@esralper00
You'd think Constellation would be on board with using a native predator to wipe out the Terramorphs instead of some virus. The later just sounds like the more natural approach.
Yeah, I chose the Aceles in my initial playthrough and was surprised when all of Constellation seemed to disagree. It's even more odd when there's approval initially, but then they criticize afterwards that microbes were the better choice. Why in the world do they not have differing opinions or are so inconsistent? Bethesda really needs to expand on the companions more, because it's kind of annoying when the same four pretty much have identical opinions on the Crimson Fleet, Ryujin, Ron Hope, and the UC Vanguard decisions. I understand that they all hail from Constellation and reasonably have similar beliefs, but given they're the ONLY companions we have that we can interact with to this extent, it's pretty stupid how limited they are.

I mean robbing an innocent ship versus spacers and pirates who go around stealing from and murdering people is a bit different.

none of the companions support the aceles, which is stupid because it is most certainly the smarter choice.
