Man if I found a 19 in 15 minutes I would spend the rest of the hour just trying stuff (half of which would probably be making sure my solution works 😭) So happy you have something like this Owen, Amazing
It’s so amazing to see you get something this good man… it makes me think way back at Petoskey Cubing 2016 when we were both into Skewb. Who would’ve expected FMC at the time lmao. Congrats my friend! You absolutely deserve this extremely impressive result. Can’t wait to see more impressive results coming from you!
ZZ is a great start since EO is a super important part of FMC! I definitely would keep working on your block building and efficiency. Also looking at example solves from others is super helpful in seeing some things you might have not thought to do otherwise. Once you're pretty confident with that, then you can make the switch to DR. The FMC discord server is also a super helpful resource if you have any questions or just want to see a bunch of FMC recons, here's a link - discord.gg/fMYT7AGq And yep, for this solve I didn't use NISS. Sometimes you won't need to switch to find a good solution, but it is definitely not as common as switching back and forth - especially for block solves.
@@owenwiddis1961 thanks for answering and for the link. I actually already know DR but cant consistently do htr, so thats why i use zz. What do u think is the "limit" of zz in fmc?? Do you think i can have consistent sub 35 with zz?? Please answer
@@rodrigoqteixeira The limit for EO + block building is probably sub 25, but that would be difficult. I was averaging around 27-28 when I switched from EO/blocks because I was finding it hard to improve. Just using ZZ and following the EO + Cross + F2L + LL process is pretty limiting, so you should try and work on switching to a more EO/block oriented approach. Doing that I think you could get sub 35 pretty easily
@@owenwiddis1961 I think I misspeaked, I do EO, line, block build F2L, skeleton LL. I sometimes also do winter variation, OLL, COLL or hope to get an OLL skip

Thanks bro I got it at Grand River Barber
So happy for you!!!
Super impressive result! How many EOs did you check before before deciding on the one you used?
Thank you! I found this EO pretty early and at that point in the attempt I had only checked about 10-15 EOs

it was me and bro we was in the store
There is no L in Owen but there is definitely a W
I currently average 40 moves with kinda ZZ but block buildy into skeleton. How should I get better?? Also you didn't use niss in the attempt??
