1. Generation doesnt define tastes: kids can like other genres too. not all kids listen to the same thing. 2. No kind of music is "empty" if you mean to say emotionless: all art is emotional, some are just showing different complex emotions (metal tends to display anger, jazz can be relaxing, ect.) 3. The rude "all you kids listen to garbage, i listen to REAL MUSIC" attitude is one of the behaviours that turn more youth away from older styles.

Music on the web means we can chose what we like. There are the people who want to earn multiple billions if they can control it, and where they can they do. There is lots of good music and songs to sing in every generation. But the money people pump out what earns them he most.
So many blues song lyrics begin with “Woke up this mornin’.” Tell you what, at my age, waking up in the morning sure as hell doesn’t give me the blues.

An old man,many years ago ,in Toxteth liverpool england,told me if you’ve got the groove and you got the feel you’ve got the way to play the blues.40 years later and I’m still missing the magic something.These people have got whatever I lack by the sackfull.Wonderful version and beautifully played.
That's a really nice humble compliment but I believe everybody can do it. Anyone can get through a maze if someone shows them. Try clapping your hands to songs (start to finish--try this one). You must crawl before you walk. And these guys are running.

Ну да, я тоже глянул сначала , дед в кашкете, тетенька в футболерке и косынке а ля рюс , лица славянской наружности, а оно вона как. Отбарабанили по фирме. Я всегда говорил , что англосаксы намба ван в своем жанре. Блюз , рок , кантри , соул - к ним не подходи. Вроде семь нот, а немцы начнут - тут же железный марш или сопли , как у Рамштайна или Скорпов , русские - тоска и депресняк во всю ширь, итальянцы- Сан -Ремо все одно получается, за французов молчу, кроме Джонни Холидэя , и то только на английском когда поет . Короче , у всех получается на свой национальный лад, но чтоб вот так кто то сел и сбацал, вряд ли. ФирмА , одним словом. Недаром когда то среди лабухов это слово было в ходу, если кого хотели высоко оценить.
Нам было делать нечего с утра. На огороде раком постояли мы вчера. Сегодня нужно нам культурно отдохнуть. И сбацать блюз , то бишь старинкою тряхнуть. Возьмем мы в руки балалайку и стиральную доску. И выльем в песне древнерусскую тоску. О том как хорошо бы прогуляться по леску. Или вдоль берега по мокрому песку. )))
