We're thrilled to announce the birth of three lively lion cubs! Born on July 29th, these little ones - a boy and two girls - are already stealing hearts and making headlines. The proud parents, Nemean and Ellie, are part of our cherished lion pride. This birth marks another significant step forward in our ongoing dedication to species preservation and is a testament to our success in preserving rare and endangered species.
Just two weeks old, their unique personalities are already shining through! From their initial loud screeches to their first wobbly steps, our team has been there, ensuring they navigate their early days safely.
They've shown a keen interest in ice enrichment, an activity that encourages natural behaviors while offering them a cool treat on hot days. As they continue to grow and thrive, we're preparing for their first veterinary check-up - a moment we'll be sure to share with you all!
Next on their adventure? Meeting aunt Valkyrie and dad Nemean in the outdoor exhibit.

I can not believe the cutest little things grow up to be a praetor .
...they won't never be....if living in a park.😪
They have to eat. So if they are in the wild they will be predators. If raised by a human and cared for and shown love and affection they won’t be although there are rare exceptions. Just my opinion.

why do they have dots like leopard?
All lion cubs are born with spots, in the wild it helps them camouflage in the grass so that other predators don't find them as they are completely defenseless at this age and rely on their mother. The spots fade when they get older.
