Niva Canedo hi! We got our SIM card at a vodaphone shop in West El-Balaad (downtown Cairo). If you don’t speak Arabic, it might be easier to get your SIM card at the vodaphone at the Cairo airport. There are 3 other companies you can buy from: Etisalat, Orange, and WE, but we really liked vodaphone and found shops all over the city!
Incredible.. You explained everything very very well in Cairo.. I am Egyptian.. Really sorry about this unfortunate situations... But you are welcome.. شكرا لك
Sayed Kamel thank you so much for this comment (and sorry for the late reply!) I’m so happy you liked the video and no need to be sorry for any unfortunate situations!! Cairo is amazing and we absolutely cannot wait to come back (very soon!!!)
DOESN'T SOUND SAFE. TO DRESS THE WAY THEY WANT & TO RUN AROUND WITH A LOCAL TO NOT BE A TARGET IS NOT SAFE. I'D GO ELSEWHERE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY IN A COUNTRY THAT CONTROLS TOURIST.WE DON'T DO THAT TO THEM WHEN THEY TRAVEL HERE
Solo video and all!! Good job ruthi you explained everything well and everything you said is entirely true. Can't wait for more videos!! Love you guys and as always be safe and have fun
Egypt is number one on our bucket list but Rhett is convinced that it’s not safe. I’m glad you made this video, I’m going to share it with him soon! Thank you😁
Rhett and Claire yayyy so happy this helps convince him to have you guys go to Egypt.. it’s an incredible place, and sad it’s reputation sometimes stops people from coming!
Two Get Outside we feel the exact same way about South Africa. Our home is incredibly beautiful and deserves to be seen!☺️. When do you plan to come to Vietnam?
Rhett and Claire we are going to South Africa next year!! We met an awesome girl from SA while we were in Turkey and got us so excited to go!.. we’ll be in Vietnam probably in October I think, but no set date yet!
Two Get Outside that makes us so happy! You’re going to love it there! We’re going back for a visit in September next year. Hopefully we can meet up if you’re there at the same time ☺️
@@RhettandClaire we can't wait for vietnam!! we're thinking of riding up or down the coast on motorbikes.. do you know anyone who's done this?! maybe the four of us could do it together!!
That’s awesome that you made this video. A lot of countries and places get a reputation and we just believe whatever we hear. Doing research is vital. Great tips, and you did phenomenal on delivering the message.
thank you so so much!! it's sad when countries get an unfair reputation for being unsafe, so I'm glad youtube is a place where anyone can share their experiences to show what it is really like!
Absolutely you are right, Egyptian are friendly and often giving help for free just if you smile. As you smile more, help and support is more as well. So you have to smile and walk like Egyptian 😜😜😜
@Yassmen Abdo I know that dt mean they can do that but I mean not all the country are the same like for sure we have a respectful men that what I mean I know they dt have any right to do this and they will regret it and about me saying I’m Egyptian and when I’m in Egyptian I wear anything I want it’s not a lie I’m really doing this anyway I’m not in Egypt and I dt know everything but when I go there I’m doing anything I want so .........
Mayra Zurita the winter and spring are the best times to visit! The temperature during those times are perfect especially if you are planning on going down to luxor. Summer time can be unbearable at times so I would say to avoid it if you can but if not we have still had great times in Egypt during the summer.
As an Egyptian living in australia, this is the most accurate answer I have heard so far about this topic or rather that repetitive silly question ⁉️ thanks and good luck to you and your handsome partner
Iam a foreigner living in Egypt for 5 years now. All i ever experienced was just a fun and peace from Egyptian people. Only female need some tips for their dresses. What you put on your body is really a must.
Egypt would have to be one of our favourite countries we visited - such a cool vibe and history and we felt so safe the whole time. Love the video!
Yayy i'm so happy you guys like it!! it's an amazing place.. one of our top in the whole world
You are welcome
@@TwoGetOutside I just thought that video now I am Egyptian but I think Egypt is better now
