I need to try out using my Nuvo drops with a stencil, as I've accumulated a few, and don't use them much, to be honest, I nearly always spoil my project putting drops on, I either smear them, or some cave in, but I do feel I need to get them used. You've totally hit the nail on the head about utilising our stash! I have a load of Nuvo Embellishment Mousses, and I do use them, not enough, and they are loved, but apart from stencilling, gilding and painting/spraying, there's hardly anything about them, even Tonic Studios don't do anything with them. After gilding, I usually spray what's left over, and smoosh it onto scraps, not just black and white either. It makes the most wonderful dendritic effect, looks like glaciers. It resists dye ink too, so you can ink over that to get marbled effects. If you gild the highlights of your embossed pieces, you can then go in with a stiff brush and dye ink to get the low bits. Also makes a perfect stamp platform pressure tool if you wrap your inky binky round it (stamp cleaning cloth). I might put some samples up after Christmas, no way could I do videos! I leave that to the experts like yourself. Much appreciated, yourself and everyone else that takes the time to put out content, thank you ❤
Thanks so much for showing other ways with Nivo drops. I really enjoyed the video and love the card. xx
Lovely card and great ideas using the Nuvo drops.
