Lol this dude just took the entire back apart 🤣 sir the speaker covers pop right out. No need to take apart the 🚗 😂 I just changed the rear speakers on my Lincoln zephyr with ease.
Hey man! I m needing to replace my left side speaker tomorrow any chance you can guide me trough popping the speaker cover off so i don’t do everything like in this video? I just don’t want to break the cover trying to lift it up
I have a 2012 mkz with these two back speakers , can I run a low line off of these wires to a low line converter so I hook up an amp cause I have aftermarket subs , I can't find any wiring diagrams for my car .
I know I’m super late. But how does the back seat disconnect from where the rear deck tucks behind it, each side at the top? I need to sound deaden my rear deck and don’t know how that part comes off.
My car did not come with them factory. So just bought factory 6×9's and was able to tie them to the rear door speakers with 8 foot of wiring for each side.
What did you upgrade them with. Mine came w the stock system so its empty back there..Im thinking about upgrading the speakers and installing a small amp but keeping the factory radio..
+Luis X I never got to upgrade them I had thoughts about doing that but then the car engine went out and I figured it not worth fixing it up again after it had 3 wrecks so I ended up parting it out
Luis I just got a 07 MKZ and it has the basic stock system with no speakers at all in the back did you ever upgrade and put speakers and a amp in ? If you did I would like to know how that went for you and what you upgraded with.
Todd Hoffert that might be a video I seen I heard some people do that but had problem trying to get the grille to stay in place after they removed the grille it rattles around

Just pop the cover off and unscrew the speaker. Good advice but you took the long way.
Exactly!!!👌🏻
How do you remove the clip connected to the subwoofer

Does anyone know what size the two larger speakers in the rear deck are? I need to replace them but can't find the specs on the internet.
Jesse Eads they are 6x9 the deck lid speaker
Nick the car guy I was wondering if I could fit some Infinity Kappa 6x9 in there?
@@MrVieyra14 I know I'm not Nick the Car Guy but I was thinking about doing the same thing. How'd it turn out?

after unscrewing the speaker, how do you remove de "clip" that attach the speaker to the car ?
I'm having that same problem I got the lid off and screws but I can't disconnect the black clip.

NasirSPJewlz Nolan I got an 08 also stock system. But did notice it had speaker cut outs under rear deck.
Crutchfield instructions say you can just pop up the grill covers, remove 4 screws and out comes the speakers

Yeah it's way easier. I did this today and you can just pop off the grill. They are plastic brackets that you can just pop in.
