Hi, I don't know how I came across your channel... It popped up on my timeline and I saw your caption.. All i'm thinking is NOOOOOOOOO!! I've lived here my whole life say over thirty years.. Since I was born.. I hate it here... I have an apartment on the upper west side, and if you know, you know, it's a good area.. But the congestion in the city.. The lack of parking but that's okay because there's plenty of public transportation.. But that has now risen to almost 3 bucks one way...6 dollars is almost 10 especially if you have to buy a metro card.. Anyway the people are rude restaurants don't last long cause the rent is expensive... Even if you are rich new york city is a struggle... There's nothing here barely no night life.. It's polluted and rat infested..😢 It's terrible here, it's the worst place in the world. It only works here if you work from home.. and good 4 u if u do cause you'll be spending all that money on rent, amazon and accommodations.. I dream everyday of getting out of here, but i'm stuck in the loop of work rent, repeat.. For the everyday person it is very expensive And uptight for no reason.. I dream of moving to the south having a little house with a front and backyard even if it's small.. A vehicle just for personal freedom.. Most people in the city don't have a car. The alternative side of the street parking is a pain in the butt, and most of the time We don't drive until the weekend. I'm gonna subscribe to your channel and keep posted on your success. I know you'll be amazing.. But the city is smothering.. There is nothing here that brings inner happiness and joy. And I'm not speaking from a salty place. I have a good life a few friends. I'm not in debt, I have good credit.. I am functioning independently but I want more and the city does not offer that.. I haven't seen a clear blue beautful sky and green grass in years. It's very Grey here. My father lives in texas and I have family in georgia.. I was shocked how beautiful the sky was at night.. We might see the moon and some dots but that down south sky at night😮.. The air is so light and healthy.. Every time you walk outside in new york city You suffocate a little...😢 I do wish you the best but if you're having second thoughts.. Follow your gut.. It is amazing to travel and live independently and do what you want in life.. I sincerely hope this is what you want because it is not what I want.
