Easy DIY Christmas Stocking Tree

This is a stocking tree. This same design would be great in cedar for the garden as a garden obelisk.
The big takeaway I learned from this project was the staining method. It worked really well. I don't like your regular stains because they blotch and gives wood an unnatural color, but this gel stain worked great.
