I can relate alot💔💔 I'm currently unemployed. ..Completed my studies in Internal Auditing last year because of not getting anything not even an internship💔I decided to go back to school again to further more. ..Honestly speaking I'm no longer enjoying school anymore. ..I'm frustrated bcz my siblings & mom are looking up to me for them to live a better life...But here I am everyday. God sets your pace. I relate so much with your story. I failed twice in high school that's when my depression started. I finished high school at the age of 21 years. My classmates used to make fun of me and would be painful but I studied hard and kept trusting in God and God listened to my prayers. 22 years I started my 1st yr varsity Nd now I am 31 years old this year and I am finishing a Masters degree. I've received so many scholarships and awards for academic excellence. What I keep telling myself is that it's not me it can only be God. God rewrites our stories we just need to trust in him.
I remember after matric i went to study instrument engineering i would pass one module per semester until my family you have been studying for too long with no results to show, i ended up not. Finishing my course i stayed at home depressed and started applying for a different course they rejected me for good 8 years, i taught iam cursed, i stopped praying, 2019 my husband applied for me without my knowledge, i was so shocked to receive a message that i have been accepted at the University, the next message was nsfas has funded me, i was so surprised i never taught i would study. Ever again coz i was counting my age, i was 34 years 2020 when i started studying, this is my second year and i have been passing all my modules with distinction. WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT I THE LORD WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN. iam grateful to my husband for not giving up on me, because I have already given up on myself
Ive been to TUT for 2 years, failed both those years from 2014 to 2015, 2016 took a gap year, 2017 gave it another chance at DUT, did a foundation course got funded, did my first year smooth, second year smooth. 3rd year Covid hit, lost my bursary due to the N+2 rule, couldn't pay for accommodation, I failed my 3rd year. This year Im taking it one day at a time. God really pulled up for me and Im 27 this year still doing my 3rd year proud. Ive never in my entire life compared my self with my peers cause we are not the same and God has different plans for all of us. Stay in prayer and never give up on your dreams.
@@Kusanagi7618 Its an augmentation or bridging course. But for us we were put in one class room with Photography students, Jewellery design, interior design, fine art and graphic design. We learn a little bit of everything. You dont decide you wanna do foundation, you just get accepted for it, before you start first year (not everyone though, some lucky students are accepted for first year right away) Im not sure what it takes to be put there, but I was one of the students who they felt I needed to start at a foundation phase.

Prior to that I had spent 4 years pursuing a different course, struggling with one module, ended up being excluded by the institution and also told not to return. Starting over is not as bad as it seems, Rejection is God's projection and protection. Run your own race, do not be bothered with what is happening to the left or right of you. Keep your focus on Jesus Christ (The Good Shepard) he will not lead you astray. Never give up, to give up is to say no to your destiny... 2 Corinthians 10:11-13 and Matthew 6:3-6

Eventually in 2016 I graduated. But before I went up that stage I told GOD that I am going up on that stage not just for a mere degree but to celebrate His faithfulness throughout those years. Listen love do not be discouraged as hard as it is, These years have been preparing you for something greater than you think. Be faithful in seeking GOD though this situation, it's not about how you compare with those around you but It's about how you hold on to your Maker even when people have given up on you. When you seem like you are behind. I'm telling you hold on, call on GOD in JESUS' Name. This is preparing you for years ahead. Think of Joseph in the Bible, he lost his freedom and ended up in a dungeon for years just because he shared his dream with his brothers. But guess what, those years were preparing him for the throne, but he didn't know at the time. Same with you dear, you will make it in life not just in varsity but make sure that however long or humiliating this process may be, trust in GOD through it all. Well done Siya my brother. I am so happy that you made and that you are being a motivator to others. I have struggled in my my life also and I came from a poor family in the Vaal. We lived at Sonderwater when it was still an informal settlement. Today things have changed i live in one of Northen Jhb suburbs, I have a family, we deive good cars and I managed to build a house for my mother in a better location. I suffered in many ways through poverty and many forms of abuse but today I am able to motivate others.
I'm only 23 but I feel like my life is wasted. I tried committing suicide but failed... When I got pregnant I found my purpose to live again but my son was stillborn at 36 weeks... I literally saw my life crumbling right in front of me... I started a UA-cam channel to keep my mind busy but it's really been hard.... A lot has happened in life I'm so tired😭
