- Join Captain Hodson and her 349th Air Mobility Wing KC-10 Extender crew as they aerial refuel A-10 Warthogs to extend them across the Atlantic in a short film that looks at the Air Force Reserve, past and present. A PILOT'S JOURNEY, filmed by Reserve Citizen Airmen, originally premiered at EAA AirVenture, 2018 to commemorate the Air Force Reserve's 70th birthday. Thank you to all who supported this film including the PA offices and operational squadrons from the 349th AMW; 514th Air Mobility Wing, McGuire AFB; 477th Fighter Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson; Davis-Monthan AFB; U.S. Air Force Academy; 482nd Fighter Wing, Homestead Air Reserve Base; Museum of the USAF; Ohio State University & Detachment 645 ROTC Cadets. Also, thank you to Air Combat Command PA & the Heritage Flight Team as well as the Air Force Reserve Command History Office. A special thanks to Capt. Hodson and her coworkers in her civilian employment for allowing us to film at their office in the MD-11.

Good for you Mate ! I love the “10” !! I was the fleet manager of DC-10 For a major US Carrier and miss this bird. My fave spot, is that elevated Jump seat behind the Captain.
