EXTRA LOW VOLTAGE AND LOW VOLTAGE. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE AND WHY IT MATTERS TO THE SAFETY OF USERS.

This video shows you the difference between extra low voltage and low voltage and how people and animals may be safe in the event of a fault with one system but exposed to danger and a potentially fatal electric shock with another.
A third voltage range is also mentioned and we explain the correct naming conventions for all three.
We will also discuss how many well known retailers and some electricians do not properly understand the differences between these different voltage bands and go on to show you how they should be designated correctly according to BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
Misunderstanding the differences can introduce errors and danger into an installation or an electrical circuit.
