There is strong binding links and being able to speak French is William's duty. He will one day address the parliament in both languages. It's his duty.
I agree like my siblings and cousin have telling Kevin Richards that William would rather protect his people than have them beheaded. He is not sick or cruel, he had a protecting nature since he was seven. The only time he threatened to "chop off people's heads" when he became king was when he was five years old and he saw his mother getting upset by being chased for a good story and he saw it made her cry. Even at five he has a kind heart and could see when someone was upset.

In fact, an overwhelming majority of the Falklands residents voted to remain British last survey in December 2011. In fact, The Falklands existed even before Argentina became a country from Spain. So if there is contention it would be between Spain and UK and not argentina. After Argentina deliberately attacked The Falklands the people there despised them and desire to be free from them.

The United Kingdom spends much less than republics like France, Germany, Italy, Greece, and US.

If you listen to Argentinian tv, most of the people are telling their government to stop bringing up the falklands issue because they do not even have the money to fund an army, they have no capability to compete against Britain.

Royals were educated in languages classics affairs of state as was their duty. They were fluent in French at least because of the commonwealth. Diana instead sent the boys to state schools and forgode a classic education. William is struggling with his French which looks bad. Royals should not be ordinary or celebrity. That's not them. The nation wants them to be special, a focal point for us. Not ordinary.
It does not look that bad, and besides most of Canada does not know that much French anyways. You are required to take French up to eight grade and then in high school you don't have to.
