Probably the cam car's driver. The ute may have been brake checked by the hatchback in front of him...but either way, the cam car had time to slow down and get some buffer room back, but didn't...so he'll probably end up taking the blame.
@@aussiebloke609 I'm no expert on Australian traffic law, as a citizen of Canuckistan, but it's worth noting that the ute driver passed illegally using a turning lane, and placed himself too close to the cam car for the cammer to stop safely. And, of course, he deliberately created another dangerous situation by brake checking. I'd expect any sensible police department to charge the ute driver with reckless driving, and the cammer with nothing.
@Owen Armstrong One can only hope...but the cam driver _did_ have time to back off and increase the gap before the accident happened (and we're assuming the ute was brake-checking - the hatchback ahead of the ute isn't visible, so there's no way to tell if it was this vehicle actually doing a brake-check and the ute just trying to avoid piling into it. Likely it was the ute, as being a dick seems to be the ute driver's default state IMO, but not in evidence, sadly.) And while the ute was blatantly breaking the law by passing in a turning lane, that's bit of scofflaw-ism isn't the actual cause of the accident, so while he could probably be ticketed for that, it likely won't be considered a direct cause of the accident - a contributing factor at best. Basically, the ute driver was a complete shithead with his passing maneuver, but that doesn't permit the cam car driver to then continue driving so close either. And finally, you're hoping that a "sensible police department" actually exists in Arse-trailer. I'm not so optimistic, myself. :-P
The car in front looked like it was going significantly slower than both the ute and the dashcam car. Id say the ute driver simply estimated its speed poorly and had to brake hard.... And the cam driver was only watching the bonnet of his own car. Ute driver was a dickhead, but the cam driver should already have been prepared to brake after observing the car ahead driving slow before the ute even passed.
Question from someone in scotland, is the driving tests as ridiculous as they are in the us and canada? We actually have fairly strict tests and you still have idiots passing
@@ddon1797 There are dashcam car crash vids in UK that can be just as bad. Every Country has dickhead drivers. Not just Australia or US. Watch some Russian crash vids lol they are the worst.
Its way too easy to get your license here. Even the attitude sucks. I remember my instructor told me they don't care how I drive after the test and that everyone drives with total disregard to the rules, their job was just to help me pass it.
I was a very nervous new driver 5 years ago but I always dreaded roundabouts and they still seemed cursed. One I pass every day for work has given me 3 close encounters with people who absolutely have to get to work 30 seconds early. Turn indicators and traffic lights are just that; indicators. Always look both ways at least twice every single time.
Tips on how to avoid the crashes in the video: 1: Drive with enough distance for you to stop between your car and the one in front. 2: If there is a multi lane road and one or more of the lanes is not moving while one of the others is, slow down in the lane that is moving and watch out for cars. 3: Use traffic lights properly. 4: watch where you are going.

16:56 This is probably the happiest video in car crash australia.... the music choices makes me hold-up some chuckles and then the laugh... just done it...
Holy those bonnet lookers are getting really dangerous on the road. Explanation of a "bonnet looker": Is a driver who does NOT SCAN the road in front or around the vehicle for hazards but rather goes cross eyed fixated on something on their bonnet, i.e wiper blades or windshield washer spray nozzles if they stick up on the bonnet far enough.
12:30 If someone suddenly occupies the space ahead of you (takes away your buffer zone, diminishing your safe driving distance to the car ahead), it gives you insufficient time and space to stop, the fault of any subsequent rear end collision becomes their fault. In other words..... over taking someone then immediately brake testing that car will result in your arss being shoved forward at your own fault and expense.
Keys to effective and fun driving: Disregard weather, and all traffic signs and signals. Drive as fast as you can (if you aren't passing all the other cars-you're not going fast enough). Expect every other driver to avoid you (because it's your birth-right). Bonus points: Drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Secret, double Bonus points: All of the above but drive with your eyes closed and cross your fingers for luck-remember, the road fairy will protect you.

@@damienomen68 That's it! I knew I had seen that before, I haven't lived in Sydney for 9 years, just couldn't remember 👍
@@cowardhackers4485 For Sydney is not really a complex intersection.Oncoming merge left to turn left, lane 2 straight ahead with light approval from memory.(Parked cars lane 1 nearby.)Caught the bus on Parra rd.

Luckily for me I dont know any of them
🇦🇺 SA
You know what I fucking hate? Leaving a safe stopping distance and people taking that as an invitation to move into said space... thats like 60% of these clips.
My reaction to about 97% of these clips is "How the hell did you think that was a good idea?"
What good is thinking for?
;-)
People, put your goddamn phones away.
But I'm in the middle of a game of snake
14:11 truck living up to it's name like a boss 💥🔥
17:01 Now that response was pure Gold. Great compilation, as always.
The guy that runs DashCamOwnersAus Twitch channel said that it's his Step-father 🤣
I thought this episode would NEVER arrive !
Awesome editing and production....THANKS to all contributors TOO !
(from a wrong side driving Yank 🙄)
Warching these make me not want to drive on our roads but these vids are addictive!
12:55 - My money is on the chance he looked up, saw the green, then started to accelerate as he looked back down on his phone.
Manager of Cowper Smash Repairs (12:39): "We're having a quiet week Gareth, go out to the intersection and drum up some business for us."
I wonder what was the outcome of 12:25 one. Drivers or the Ute dickheads fault for break checking him. Totally deserved imo
Obviously brake checking, followed by middle finger out the driver’s window.
not even 20 seconds in and I'm mad Keep clear is not a give way.
That would save a lot of accidents. Or you know. Lights.
12:56 you could of avoided it by waiting a few more seconds and not just pounce when it went green 😒😒
Why he had a green light and was legally in the right. The other dick who went through a red is in the wrong.
@@christopherduncan5276 Because the way wasn't clear.
Vehicle was there and turning before he even moved off the line.
The guy is fishing for dash cam footage
6:40 The number of crashes at that particular set of lights is magical
TurboSpaceKitten i’ve never seen a crash there.
I like how we seem to run into people just to show them that they are wrong.
7:00 I reckon that kid ripped the handbrake
how the hell any of these people passed their driving test is a bloody mystery.......FFS it's not THAT hard to pay attention when you are driving
Question from someone in scotland, is the driving tests as ridiculous as they are in the us and canada? We actually have fairly strict tests and you still have idiots passing
You don't need to pass a test in Australia if you have an international drivers license....
@@ddon1797 There are dashcam car crash vids in UK that can be just as bad. Every Country has dickhead drivers. Not just Australia or US. Watch some Russian crash vids lol they are the worst.
True. I would have to say this is the most Dashcam USAsy post in- forever!
Tips on how to avoid the crashes in the video:
1: Drive with enough distance for you to stop between your car and the one in front.
2: If there is a multi lane road and one or more of the lanes is not moving while one of the others is, slow down in the lane that is moving and watch out for cars.
3: Use traffic lights properly.
4: watch where you are going.
If you pause it at 8:21 or 8:22, you can see the Cam driver has a phone in their right hand on their lap.
15:45. He did that on purpose!
Both are in the wrong tho
These Comps keep me motivated just a little more to get me thru the working week, right along side watching all the seagulls in another fav youtube site "inskip"
16:56 This is probably the happiest video in car crash australia.... the music choices makes me hold-up some chuckles and then the laugh... just done it...
Not for the roo it wasn’t.
13:09 Cammer was the moron for taking the idiot car in front of him for granted.
You’ve got yourselves a hell of a channel there boys. You deserve way more than 200k subs. 👍
0:32 what's that in the sky? The purplish looking thing that look's like it's spinning?
Was this added later, what is that
Holy those bonnet lookers are getting really dangerous on the road.
Tutankhamun1333 also know as tunnel vision
@EuroPride scan as far ahead as you can, not just 2 cars
Thanks buddy! Always enjoy the videos!
Wish there was extra footage on some of these because you just feel a argument will break out and some silly idiot will cop a fully hectic slap
Hectic slap. Gold.
0.32 - I know it's probably just the sun overwhelming the camera but that black dot in the sky is creepy as hell and looks like something else!
Finally I actually know the location of where one of these clips is taken (the first clip happened in Tasmania Launceston).
It shows that voting green doesn't garentee an indication of high IQ ,even with two heads.
00:32 in ..what's in the sky ??
12:30
If someone suddenly occupies the space ahead of you (takes away your buffer zone, diminishing your safe driving distance to the car ahead), it gives you insufficient time and space to stop, the fault of any subsequent rear end collision becomes their fault.
In other words..... over taking someone then immediately brake testing that car will result in your arss being shoved forward at your own fault and expense.
car still had plenty of room to brake...he didn't even slow down and run into him..at least 50 / 50
15:24 is that same intersection again! Thats like 3 times now
JellyScrub I thought it looked familiar from other videos too
Yeah looks like it's out in western Sydney, must be new so people are not familiar with it. So they just gun it anyway and hope for the best 🤦♂️
@1:11 Did you buy a dashcam to show everyone how bad you are at driving?
So right, all he had to do was slow down not accelerate like an idiot
No he bought it because he thinks he's a good driver and is dangerously delusional
So many rear-enders by people not keeping a safe distance behind.
Aussies are know to be turd burglars,so rear ending each other comes naturally.
Safe rear ending could save you a lot of trouble
If you go frame-by-frame between 2:14 and 2:16 you'll see the most beautiful image of an upside-down VW badge as it launches into the distance.
YEET!
7:22 most relaxed chap ever!
9:45. This has got to be the classic taxi cab crash scam
since its rear end damage, they use their insurance scam bullshit and claim they're rear ended.
ESPSJ yep. Seen it all too often.
8:42 Instant Karma for running over Skippy!! 😡
You must not get out of the city much, huh.
7:32 just one question, HOW?!
Seems like the individual had enough of life and snapped
The full acceleration in reverse scenario is almost always a senior citizen.
They did miss with the reverse though. Most of the time they manage to go right through a shop window.
@@railtrolley Mostly they don't, it's just still photos can't show then missing and be interesting.
1:51 the most generic Aussie reaction
Nahh 2:45 😂

Is that the mofokin Sun flaring?? Nevet seen anything like that. Amazing!!
Drink every time a white car crashes.
Rental places say that statistically, white is the safest too lol
Vas1984 I am underage, so no.
White is the most common car colour so it makes sense more crashes involve a white car
Or Every time a Land Cruiser driver does something ridiculous
Racist
Watching this channel shows me that many drivers do not pay attention to their surroundings because if they did some of these accidents where cars have pulled out in front of them could have been avoided
7:04 is that a child driving?!
I wish I was so cool I could just say... "well.. I guess that's that :)"

So many people don't know how to use a roundabout...
So true.
They treat them like 4 way intersections.
I'm 22 and just got my learners because I was scared of driving (well specifically, dying while driving) and seeing this has really made me second guess going to my driving lesson. Anyone else that was scared of driving that got over their fear?
