On and off ride footage of the awesome water ride Drenched at Oakwood it has to me my all time favourite water ride because the drop is insane and you get absolutely “Drenched”

Austin Shaw yes. The one at Knott's Berry Farm was called Perilous Plunge and shut in 2012. Drenched is the last of its kind

Why are their OTRs on these when Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park doesn't have them?

It has a near vertical drop and before it had OTRs someone fell out.
