It was far more than an IT fault , it was the systematic distruction of multiple lives to protect the reputatation of the post office and it's flawed computer system , the cover up was imense and absolutely criminal , these post masters were sacrificed and the fact that senior people in the post office were never jailed over this is a national disgrace .

This has truly been one of the most awful miscarriages of justice I have ever watched, and they are still being betrayed. How brave these people have been and how sad they are still being wronged. 😢

Someone or some people must be put to jail, the shame and humiliation and torture these people went through by a cover up are life changing and no money can ever heal their wounds 😢. They did nothing wrong and the courts and the judge’s convicted them, the CPS must be fined and who put this case in must be put to jail, the clarks and judges who convicted these people must also be put to jail.

I know parliament jeer Andrew Bridgen and your pathetic authoritarian government sacked him for speaking out for the vaccine injured but it was Andrew Bridgen was also the MP who spent years tirelessly working with the postal workers for justice. So well done Andrew Bridgen, keep up the fight for everyone victim of injustice parliament ignore and sweep under the carpet.

    A. Why is Fujitsu not in the dock for this and B. Why does Fujitsu continue to get ANY contracts from UK companies or the Government?
They screwed up the London 999 system for the fire brigade and ambulance services and they caused 100% of the programming problems with the Post Office. Why are they still in business and why aren't they paying?

"Why does Fujitsu continue to get ANY contracts from UK companies or the Government?"

Yes, but why is JRM saying this now. It’s been known about for years. MPs are all trying to be on the right side now, but have done nothing for years. It’s also the lawyers and judges who have utterly failed and should suffer consequences. What the postmasters don’t need is more enquiries costing millions, by judges paid millions, taking years. It’s astounding that Jacob says he was briefly responsible and told his dept to put it right, yet doesn’t explain why it was not followed through. It all reflects so badly on our country and conclude that our institutions, including parliament and the courts, have become so self-serving and corrupt now that they are getting beyond the point where they can be reformed. Sadly, this country has turned away from honesty and service in its public life and institutions, and greed and unaccountability have filled the gap and become the norm.

The Royal Mail / Post Office CEO at the time that most of this happened was Adam Crozier. He is now running ITV - so you can be absolutely certain that this drama was only given the OK on the strict understanding that he was kept out of it. The excellent work done by MP Andrew Bridgen was also kept out of it - the Establishment hate Andrew Bridgen with a passion for raising the issue of excess deaths from Covid, cancelled operations, nursing home deaths, drug companies involvement etc etc.

How come the judges didn’t do there job properly they should have requested all the evidence and should have questioned the reliability of the software and if the post office could not provide any proof then the judge should have demanded the evidence before proceeding with the court case
Software can have bugs and why did the post office take the machines away there should have been a independent company to do the checks to see if there were any bugs or problems with the system
Postmasters were reporting problems with the system and if there were loads of problems being reported then why wasn’t the software brought into question if not why not

Of course the Post Office and its management are at the forefront of all this but where were the unions in all this? In my dealings with Royal Mail (which was the same company as the Post Office up until 2012) there was a militant attitude amongst the staff. This I feel was a reflection of the culture throughout. Lots of group think and towing the line going on.
