However I preferred the lady on the right dish 😋 looks more appetizing. Not a fan of pink beef uncooked French onions. And sauted fish is a no no for me.

There is nothing wrong with MSG. I love the two different styles of making Lok Lak. There was some food handling violations. Either cut the veggies before the meat or use a different cutting board and knife after handling meat. Yes I can cook but not as good as these ladies. Thanks for sharing the video.

I cook the old school but not msg or butter, i use a lot of garlic( fry garlic I put on top meat plate at the end ), more cornstarch, Flank steak is tender n mix with all ingredients(like new School) include cornstarch not OVER COOK and I add water at the end with high heat, that sauce is soak to vegi n kids can mix with lime sauce n(fresh garlic) black pepper like salad. I put raw garlic with lime sauce n pinch of salt. Alissa u should try it n let me know. Love your Channel!
Both dish presentation looks pretty good. Yummy! But the flavor in the old school is more tasty bc MSG and thinly slice medium rear . the adult love this dish better. Note: Msg is very bad for your health. Her creamy sauce is delicious. Compare to ellissa, her dish is more modern American-khmer style. Her food presebtation is excellent, the meat can be cut thinly slice or cube but you can not have any fat in it. Her sauce is not quietly nail yet bc she use watery regular khmer traditional meat or egg roll sauce and the other blk pepper & lemon sauce is ok but missing a few other ingredient. The children like this one better bc the new generation does not know the correct khmer traditional flavor sauce for this particular dish call lok lak. They are used to their everyday mom's sweet n sour sauce for everyday dish. For me I would use ellissa food presentation with the egg and chop lettuce plus the other lady meat slice thinly but I would use my own lemon pepper creamy sauce made differently. I love your food show & garden ellissa.
I like Elissa but I like my meat leaner and thinly slice and not too much fat on it. I also don’t like using MSG in my food. My son and I love the eggs on top.
