I heard this back in the day and never forgot it. Only just found it again thanks to the wonders of UA-cam. Every riff and phrase makes my hair stand on end. Thank you for sharing! It makes me feel young again! :-)
Wishbone Ash should definitely be inducted into the rigged Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their contribution to music is deep and deeply underappreciated. Still rocking too!
Great British band as a teenager all my mates were huge Ash fans , saw them live many times Argus was an essential album of the times , brilliant memories
I saw Wishbone Ash the day before on October 24th 1978 at 8pm at the Hammersmith Odeon! I know that is the date because I still have the ticket stub. Ticket price £3.00 UK. Tracks I recall include the ones here. The date on this concert says 25/10 1978, so is it possible that they played two consecutive nights at the Odeon? Anyway its great to hear these tracks live again and relive that great evening. Thanks for posting this excellent recording!
Is it possible that one could ever grow tired of listening to Wishbone Ash ? This was and still is an amazing band. Andy is carrying the flag very well I think. But God, I wish the original line up got back together or, at least, they reunited with Laurie. Few bands could claim they were as good as Wishbone Ash was in the 70's.
Was given Argus for my 13th birthday and loved them from the beginning Saw them during the number the brave tour in 1981 in a small club in Boston Trevor bolder played bass as he replaced Wetton for the tour They played much of twin barrels burning which was one of their best records A real treat
Once again. This is the best of all-rock groups. I have been appreciating their music for decades - and will do it forever! No other group can be compared to them. No matter what line up they have, their music will always be unique!
Excelente creación de Ashbone Ash. Música fenomenal que en muchas ocasiones te lleva a las 💦 lágrimas de tan profundas interpretaciones. 🍻 Muchas gracias 😀🎸👍👏🙌
Great band. Missing Ted Turner but Laurie Wisefield was still excelent ' I saw WA with him in a small venue, it was one of the best shows I ever was lucky enough to see back in the day. Thanks for the posting. I am enjoying it now.
Yeah I was glad to do it as good as they were back then right now they're better you know so I mean I seen him twice in New Orleans back in the early '70s and they were fantastic I seen them two different places in the auditorium and Uno basketball
yes!... we really missing Ted Turner but anyway Laurie Wisefield dis a incredible job since the album there`s the rub... the song Persephone is a really a incredible trip in the time!

Fabulous recording! I saw W.A. on the " There's the Rub" 1974 fall tour- wished I had seen them in 1978!
GREAT sound on this! Thanks for this!
Although Laurie Wisefield was-is a fine guitarist/ no one compares to the added depth Ted Turner gave to this band !!!###
