I cook. I know how to cook. I just choose not to.😬. Seriously, I prefer to do it a few times a week but maybe do something different in the middle of the week. Weekends, it’s either or. Because of your celiac, I know it’s a little more complicated. Are there meal kits geared towards those who have celiac disease?
Making chicken is really easy. I buy either chicken breasts or chicken tenders at Trader Joe's. Season however you like (sometimes I marinate with soy sauce and other stuff) , then 375 for about 25 minutes. I pull the rack out and slice through the thickest piece to make sure it's not raw before taking it out. I often cook this on a Sunday night and then portion it out for three or so more nights during the week.
An air fryer could really help! It’s pretty quick. I make salmon a lot and it’s usually 7-9 mins. I pair it with salad kits or I’ll steam a lot veggies and then freeze them in individual portions for easy dinners through the week. The struggle is real when cooking for one! 🥲💖
Hi Lucia 🙂 You seem happier when you are being productive. You even smile when hanging your laundry 🧺 to dry. Your work outfits always look so good on you.
My Brümate Nav is my work/togo cups and it does not spill! I take my longchamp tote to work sometimes and hot or cold it’s great! I’d recommend getting a pack of reusable straws (I like the rubber tip metal ones) too!
Lucia try making your salmon in a glass microwaveable dish season to taste. I get my salmon from Trader Joe's. Add a few slices of butter and squeeze some lemon. Cover with plastc wrap. Only 5 min! It's so easy and tasty! I like baking it in the oven too uncovered for about 25 minutes. Either way you'll enjoy.
So here’s the thing just because your eating at healthy place doesn’t necessarily means it’s healthier or sanitary. There’s a lot of places that don’t wash there fruits and veggies properly and sometimes there a lot of cross contamination with regards to food which can lead to one getting sick. Cooking isn’t hard trust me, my mom taught me how to cook at a young age and I also watch UA-cam videos on how to cook and put my own spin on it. So i definitely encourage you to cook more. It’s healthier and you’ll also save some more money too
Loved this vlog. Your work outfits were so cute. As for cooking, get a small rice cooker, fresh veggies and some chicken or salmon and do the cookie sheet pan meals. You just throw everything on the pan, season and a little oil, and bake. Put it over rice - tada! Easy, tasty, and much cheaper than ordering out. I like broccoli, chickpeas, carrots and chicken breast, or, Brussel sprouts, cubed squash or zucchini, chicken ... you can be creative!
Ive slowly over the last few years gotten better about cooking for myself and I enjoy it more now butttt I do still like eating out with some nice ambiance✨️ The dress with the bows was super adorable and you rocked it :)
Happy Sunday. Love your beginning of the week vlogs which showcase the previous ones. Hoboken is such a beautiful small city. I never really explored the waterfront area and it’s gorgeous. It’s a good thing that your commute from the Path to the office is a short one. I have a question about Orangetheory. There was a Halloween themed sign pictured in the vlog. Is that a special theme workout or just getting into the spirit?
Thanks so much 🤍 yes Hoboken is adorbs!! And haha they are just being festive! But at the end of October they have a specialty themed week of classes called “hell week” for Halloween
Lucia, love your videos! you should try heartless curls for your hair. If you braid your hair overnight and like the waves and they stay, using heartless curls overnight would give you more volume. Plus, it’s super easy!
@@LuciaCordaro it looks like you work out almost every morning, but maybe this could help in the random days you work out in the evenings and not in the mornings. Thank you for giving us a window into your big city life! I live in a small, rural town in the Ozarks (Missouri), so our lives are quite different.
I hate cooking but I’m trying to challenge myself to do it more often. My issue is rushing the process and becoming frustrated which makes the food taste worse 😂 I have read that free range and cage free eggs are the best. I try not to buy the cheapest eggs as I assume the chickens are not fed the best or have the best living and roaming conditions.
Girl, you are not alone with not wanting to cook. My husband and I eat out more than we’d like to, but it’s just so much easier than cooking. I’m hoping to set a New Year’s resolution to cook more in 2025 lol
