Eliza is so talented from Buffy-Tru calling to this show. She can carry lead rolls I can throughly enjoy but feels like she was robbed an acting career. I wonder what’s she doing now. 🤔
@@vanessa20130903 Well that's good to hear! I always like when that's the answer to why a rising star disappeared. It's one thing for someone to be robbed of a career and disappointed they didn't get the recognition they deserve and for fans to feel the same; that's tragic all around. It's a whole other thing if they have a perfectly fulfilling life and stopped acting or slowed their pace and reduced the intensity of their roles of their own volition. In that case I might miss seeing what they bring to a performance but I'm really just happy for them.
People say she's typecast as the "Eliza Dushku" role and I am like wha? Surely, with Dollhouse, it's like a showcase that she can do *multiple* roles: singer, secret agent, mole hunter, girlfriend - that's a WIDE range of roles! Mind you, it's like Adrian Lester when Hustle was on since, as Mickey Bricks, he also did multiple roles, accents AND tap dance (which he's pretty good at actually) and still didn't get a break in Hollywood. T_T Shame.
@@puppymolly123 It was almost a thing immediately after Buffy. Eliza turned it down for Tru Calling. Apparently Joss wasn't going to be very involved so Eliza made the decision to turn it down.

Wish the show lasted more than 2 years. If only Eliza did the faith spinoff after dollhouse was canceled.
