I didn't even approach a publisher. My dad knows Ursula K LeGuinn, and she gave me some sage advice in regards to the publishing world, and I decided to just self publish to avoid my book being hacked to bits

I DID. It took me over a year to finish it. It was exhausting, but very liberating. I can cross the "write a book" off my bucket list
