Keep at it Davey! Lots of venues for you. Stroll through some fleas or boot sales like the old days (if they are still doing them in the UK). Bet there are still bargains out there even in nowadays. Come to TN and we'll take you around for your channel content here. You're the best!
This Art Deco opalescent fruit bowl was purchased at a (small time) local auction with a Chrysis nude (former car mascot) ornament, both described as 'Lalique'. I have kept the figure and want to sell the fruit bowl for about the £200 mark that I paid for it.
I've got Great grandfather's gold, American Waltham pocket watch. Dated 1890's iirc I brought it to an ARS valuation day in Aberdeen in 2007 give or take. The guy who looked at it was a local, off camera, and incredibly dismissive. I just love how every piece inside is etched, decorated, to the nth degree! Talk about pride and workmanship!
@@DavidHarperAntiques please tell me how to find the right buyer ? I have ask a bunch of antique dealers and sent them pictures but non of them are interested in buying them .
This is very interesting and informative! I can't believe how much the Chinese stuff are worth! We have a console that's a Chinese design. I'm going to send you a photo tomorrow. I've liked and subscribed to your channel too!
Rosie doesn't care at all. She's waiting for a treat. Sounds familiar to me, " I knooow nothiiiinng". I somehow remember a rotund sergeant saying that.
I co-own a propmaking company in California. When we work on some film projects we've seen people dumpster diving for castoffs even before the creators and makers can take a memento or clean up their tools. Please do not do this - don't steal trash from sets - it may not even be trash, it could be our equipment. It is 😢 when creators cannot take home a thing after everything gets pilfered from set.
Yeah we've seen film companies go out of business or fail to clean their studios and sets properly, so those items often end up in the skip -- I've rescued and resold thousands from previous shows but now do the opposite and sell back to the propmasters and production designers @@DavidHarperAntiques

Fascinating, thank you.
I love your vids....but I can't hear you. Perhaps a remote mic would help??
Thanks for watching…sometimes sound isn’t great, but I think the more recent vids are better!
Thank you once again - I need a time machine really
hi David. what about holly Antiquety?thank for reply.
I have learned that you could have something that could be worth millions but if you do not find the right buyer then it's not worth anything .
If you have the right thing, finding the right buyer is very very easy!!

No wonder, film props can be worth a fortune!

Hello David,I have an ancient European Map from 1657. Have some other antiques that might interest you. Do you have an inbox?

Hi, yes you’re best speaking to a local dealer / auctioneer in the country you live. They’ll understand the local market far better
im trying to look at his face but my eyes keep wandering....
I presume you are addressing European folks not Americans. All they have are plastic 80s toys and cabbage patch dolls !
some of the biggest collectors of toys are in America!
