I bought a new laptop because my old laptop cannot handle most of my computer engineering apps . By the way I'm a computer engineering student in Malaysia : ) Nice to meet all of you !

I have always been a windows user, until about a year ago I switched to mac!! Unfortunately my screen was messed up and they tried to charge me almost 600 dollars to get it fixed. So I took my money back to HP, and spent 500 dollars on a new amazing laptop which arrived today. Apple might seem good because you see all these aesthetic unboxings, but HP is a god.

I think the laptop performance was quite well. Since my previous laptop was lenovo, I found that this laptop charge faster and the battery lasts quite a long time within 3 to 4 hours. The laptop speed is good. Even though I open a lot of software, it doesn't lag or took a long time to open.
@@yoaar_ what about fans is it noisy?
@@MelisaYıldırım-o5u at first when I charge it, the fan is a bit noisy but after a while the noise slowly decrease. I rarely used it when it's charging so I didn't hear the fans noise
do you recommend it for editing [photoshop, corel, illustrator, etc]??

We have the same laptop! I bought mine earlier- i was knda torn between that and lenovo since they have the same price range, but the one who guided us says that yhe hp one is better when it comes to online 😩✨

@@hjkk3248 oh lmao i just realize that mine is diff since mine is called Hp Laptop 14s-dq2090TU , i bought mine for almost 36k php, but there's another version where its much bigger and its for almost 40k php- the one who's assisting us suggest the 36k for ol classes :D

An alternative universe where Hp is more popular than macbooks
People say Mac is better because of its aesthetically pleasing design and unboxing, but it isn’t worth it for the price, not a touchscreen and it costs so much to get a warranty (care package) and it’s even more to get something fixed if you don’t buy the care package. Honestly, hp and dell are the best for their prices.
i think it is worth it for the price (especially you are high-school/ university student) because Macs are really good for "educational" things and they are fast laptops, if you wanna do professional things there's have more choices too.
But If you wanna do both study/daily actives and gaming, its not worth it the price.
@@tsaritsaarchon yeah. Where I live Mac’s don’t work well with our State Education System, but definitely it’s something to consider depending on your uses for it.

The performance is still okay no lagging or overheat. The battery performance is okay too! For the brand, i dont know much about mac but i know the performance is really great and last long.
