In the hospital w/covid, kicking my butt Lester. Been here since Wednesday 😮😮😢First time I ever had it. Up here in Michigan it's going around. I love calenders use them alot. That calender you and Jamie got is definetly a keep sake....love you both...😅😅😊❤
I think i read that 60 people lost their lives. It was twice as bad because we had a cold front come thru, filled with rain, right before the hurricane hit. I live in Macon GA. They said we'd have 100mph winds. We got lucky, very lucky. We, ourselves did not lose power, just internet. The winds here ended up only being about 35-40mph. Like I said. We were very lucky.
Watching replay, I was late!! We in Georgia dodged a bullet! Helene blew through here so fast it hardly left a mark....just a few trees down....praying for all the people in Tennessee and North Carolina

Many years ago, when I first got married, we were renting an attached town home, 6 attached homes were in a row, and in the middle of the night a fire broke out in the laundry room below the townhouse, gas leak we think, and because of it, everyone living there lost EVERYTHING! We had just gotten married so we lost our wedding presents, new furniture we had just bought, etc. But the worse thing were our photos from the past that couldn't be replaced,😞 Yes, we did have insurance but who expected a total destruction so we only had enough into replace about 1/3 of our stuff. The photo albums were the worse loss. Anyway, after the shock dimmed we had no choice but to start over, using all our resources and help from our parents, life eventually got back on track. But the 9 photo albums that we couldn't replace, from childhood to the day of the fire, still hurts my heart when I think about it.😥
I have a biopsy neck . On the 3rd. My cousin is in N. Carolina and a pine tree fell on their house and chicken coop . Thankfully it only put fist size hole in their roof . I have a friend in Indy that hasn't had power . A friend in Georgia a nd Florida I haven't heard from yet im saying prayers for all from Indianapolis, Ind. to Florida. Watching on replay since I was at church.

As far as I know, they are the only ones (I WATCH) that have calendars. I love Jami’s dress! The Texas SUV shirt is so funny!! I love y’all! I’m going to have a colonoscopy soon, as long as my cardiologist says I’m fine for the anesthesia. Believe me, the prep is the worst part about having one! During my last one, (10 years ago ) they removed 7 non-cancerous polyps. So, it’s useful for screening. Praying for y’all and all the folks in the path of Hurricane Helene. ♥️🙏♥️
I'm from Florida and have dealt with my fair share of hurricanes. Unless you live near the coast or in flood zones, It usually turns out ok except for the debris clean up. But I find most times, It just cleans the trees, Like a self pruning. That being said, I lived through Andrew. That was compact and like a buzz saw. But unlike other Hurricanes, That one was a wind event mostly. Being 15miles from the ocean, I never expected sea water and sea life in the parking lot outside. It smelled like the ocean. That more than anything showed me the power of these storms. I'm in Central Florida now, So Helene only brought us puffs of wind. BTW Lester, Your hat matches just fine
You lay on your left side and put your right leg over the left leg and your out you wake up and the doctor comes in and tells you what they found and the nurse asks you if you want something to drink and who ever picks you up pills up to take you home all good
Lester everyone needs a colonoscopy at age 50 man or woman. They save lives. It's not that bad. I started eating a light diet days before so the prep wasn't as bad. The worse thing for me is when I'm put under I lose that day and the next day because the sedative truly impacts me. Start earinf a light diet today your prep will be so much easier. You'll be fine. Sending 🙏 I know you'll still be nervous.
do not worry about the colonoscopy I have had several and my next one will be in a few months, also my son-in-law passed away in July from colon cancer. he had just turned 49 this spring, I love watching your videos.
