I've spent the last 2 hours looking for a video that shows the lines actually on a wall and the different settings. This is the only video on the internet that is this thorough. And even addressed my question about will it work on a camera tripod. Well done for the best video on the internet on this laser level.
I've tried using lasers for layout a few times, and other than once using it to set pendant supports for track lighting with a drop ceiling laser, it's usually been a case of I can't see the beam when I'm trying to nail up the part I'm laying out. but I've been saying they need to make these with a high power pulse mode, so you can set your elevation, step out of the house, and hit the pulse to mark uniform elevation throughout the house.
Yes, these 360° lasers are great for working on floor leveling for old houses with cracked slabs or sagging foundation walls. These green lasers are much more visible than red as well.
@@SparkyChannel have to be a little bit careful when leveling floors in old buildings. if it wasn't level to begin with, then trying to level it can create worse problems.
@@kenbrown2808 Ken, I have a lot of experience with leveling floors and you're absolutely correct. But in the right hands, this 360 laser is a money maker!
whatd you go with and how did it work out.. im in the same boat, can either get bosch that operates of D cells or the milwuakee that uses my m12 batteries, but the milwuakee doesnt seem like its intended to be a grading laser, they dont sell it in a kit with a tripod, grading rod and receiver you have to piece it together
There's a little crank on my tripod. You just crank that and the laser and it's line goes up and down. Then there is a micro control on the unit for finer leveling. Thanks!
Will a 6ah battery fit without interfering with the laser line, I've just purchased one of these lasers and I need to get a battery, my regular wholesalers is out of 4ah, but 6ah is available. Thanks
You're asking about a tripod? I like the ones that have a fine up and down adjustment. You would want "travel style" as they are made to fit in standard suitcases.
I own the Milwaukee 360 green 3 plane laser cat no 3632-20 and I have the Milwaukee tripod. Tripod is not so good as the laser is heavy and the tri pod is flimsy. looking for a pole to use with the laser. Perhaps a Johnson Model #40-6301 ? Does anyone have their laser mounted to a pole?
These are amazing tools…..but are handicapping a large portion of commercial carpenters. Worked with a guy 25 years older than me who would be able to square up a dog house with his 3 plane laser….I was getting nauseous lining up his laser for him for a 12x30 deck. Went to check it and it was an inch out of wack because he had no idea how or where to start. Sad thing is these “commercial” carpenter make almost 8 more buck an hour more than residential guys and if they had to build anything that wasn’t already framed in around them it was be a disaster
Oh Bill I'm jealous, been wanting one of these. Have a great weekend 😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Yes, they're really nice!

For a second I thought you were Scotty Kilmer. I had to do a double take.
So did I . They sound alike. Maybe this is his brother.

Hope all is going well, Sparky The Man!
Everything is great, thanks so much! I hope all is well with you too!
Can this used for for leveling and tile work?
Would of been even better if they would of put it in a packout case. Thanks for the video Bill!
I put mine in a packout! Way better!
Has anyone tried setting grade or a foundation of a house with this? Trying to decide if I should go with the Bosch or stay with my favorite brand 😅
Both excellent!

Just paid off the credit card!!!!! Time to run it up again
LOL! Yes, this is a nice set!
Great review. Wish the detector gave how much above por below the laser was hitting from the center ( level line )
Thanks!
Great video, hope you would have shown me how to set up a preferred height with the lesser .

Love it. Thanks for the review.
Thanks!

lasers in a Fifties house? you better beam up Scotty!
LOL! Yes, everything is done now except the hardwood floor needs refinishing. I have a lot of work to do outside, then the floor will be last.
I sure wish they would put it in a packout.
Great idea!

Thank you.

Yes, it is.
Hopefully they sell these together in a packout case
That would be a great idea!
I'm still surprised to see a 4.0 battery why dont they include the 6.0
That would be good!
You working longer than 15 hours?
